I would not recommend this location to any young adults planning a celebration. We came here for my friend’s 22nd birthday with a group of about 20 people, all of us out of state college students, all 21-22. Instead of celebrating, the entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. From the beginning, it was slow, passive aggressive, and disorganized. Our IDs were repeatedly taken and checked against what staff described as their “database,” which clearly isn’t reliable or up to date. Several of us were denied service because our pictures supposedly didn’t “match their system”. Instead of scanning IDs properly or handling the situation respectfully, the managers escalated matters until they refused to serve our entire group. It felt less like a genuine concern for safety and more like the staff were looking for an excuse not to serve us. The reasons given, like we had to many out of state ids, were absurd and inconsistent. Everyone in our group was legal age, and we all had been looking forward to celebrating finally being able to go out together. Instead, a birthday we’d all anticipated was made stressful and disappointing because of Topgolf St. Pete’s outdated systems and unprofessional approach. If Topgolf wants to market itself as a destination for young adults, it needs to update its ID verification process, train their managers in professionalism and stop penalizing paying customers with valid IDs. We won’t be coming back that is for sure.

If you’re a young adult, in college, specifically out of state, do not come here. We were planning on celebrating my boyfriend’s 22nd birthday but the managers of the 3rd floor had other plans. Our REAL government issued ids were denied for suspicion of fake ids. We are all 21+ and were planning on having a chill night. Until I believe Stephanie ruined our plans. She told me specifically that my id “shined incorrectly”, which is not the case as I have been to many clubs, bars and on an airplane with the same id. I will never recommend this place to any other college student or young adult. If you are a 21 or 22 year old trying to have a drink here cut your loses and cancel your reservation .

We came with 18 people (all 22–23 years old) to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and let’s just say Topgolf really went out of their way to make it “memorable.” Instead of a fun night, we were accused of having fake IDs, denied alcohol altogether, and not even told who they supposedly thought had the “fake.” Super professional, right? One manager told us our food and play time would be covered for the “inconvenience,” but another made us pay anyway. So we got the full bill, no drinks, and a ruined birthday — thanks for the hospitality. On top of that, the service was slow, communication between staff was nonexistent, and the whole thing felt like they had no idea what they were doing. Honestly, if you’re planning a celebration and expect to be treated with even basic respect, maybe look elsewhere.

Wow, what a great way to celebrate a 22nd birthday — getting denied entry with a group of completely legal adults. Seriously, every single person in our group was over 21 (some even 22 gasp) and yet somehow, we were all turned away. Not a single person underage in the group, but sure, let's treat everyone like they're trying to sneak into a nightclub. We were just trying to hit some golf balls, not launch a covert operation. 🤷‍♀️ It’s honestly impressive how quickly a fun night can be ruined over... whatever that was. If you're over 21 and thinking about going to Topgolf to celebrate anything, maybe call ahead and double check you’re really old enough — just in case 22 suddenly isn’t

We went for a friend’s 22nd birthday. There was a group of 20 of us divided between 3 bays. All being of age we ordered drinks. We go to college here and are from all over the country. They denied all of us service because it was a red flag we from different states. Claiming that made them fake. I understand we are young but managers were unforgiving after they had deemed us for using fake IDs. Steph was rudely spoken. We had our game comped. But we’re stared at while leaving and clearly being spoken about. Front desk was amazing. Everyone else was rude.
