  What a great experience living here. They are pet friendly, kind caring people who keep the bulding looking great and operating smoothly. Leasing staff is super efficient with very little turnover. Door and concierge / valet has a strong core team as well that is very professional and available. Engineering does repairs through an online system and communicatiomd are always efficient to tenants. The building continues to make improvements in equipment, safety and apartment upgrades which is a sign of their commitment to their tenants beyond exceptional maintenance of both common and private areas. The apartments are well sized given the age of the building so you can actually live in your apartments. The bldg is easily walkable to the Metro and major bus routes. Location straddles Bethesda and Chevy Chase so it's easily walkable and convenient if you have a dog or are just looking to take a walk in a more suburban walk.

  We spent an amazing four years at TOPAZ house, awesome location with our two teenage boys going to BCC right across the road. Ernie, Andrea, the whole front desk crew and maintenance team were awesome, we miss them already :-( and our sons miss the great banter and jokes with Ernie). Great location close to everything you will ever need, and the staff are responsive and actually care. we only left as my Tour of Duty in DC came to an end, otherwise we would still be there enjoying the roof top pool, gym, and social events. Thank you to all the team from Team Kiwi (New Zealand) we miss you Ernie and hopefully Andrea is keeping you in line. Highly recommend for international people transferring to DC, the team will look after you and reduce the stress that comes with living in another country.

  I have lived at Topaz House for over 4 1/2 years, and it is the best experience at an apartment complex in the DMV Metro Area! The management makes you feel at home, with great service. The front desk, maintenance, and the mail room staff are all welcoming. The rent and utilities are super reasonable, especially in Bethesda city. I am thankful for the time I have spent here!!

  I spent a year living at Topaz. Location, friendly staff and affordability (relative to other rental apartments in Bethesda) are its biggest advantage. The only complaint I have is the noise. Overall, I had mostly pleasant time staying at Topaz.

  I just toured the topaz house and I was really disappointed with the information given to me. I literally wasted my time going there. I felt slighted for the color of my skin. I was racial projected by Kristen and Michelle. Their actions and correspondence was very unprofessional. I should been given opportunity to apply as anyone else instead I was given the run around. Please pay attention and beware.
