TNT did a great job installing the Colorado Package cross beam on my back deck. Once work was complete, Brandon came out to make sure I was happy and to answer any questions. Great customer service!

Summary: - Small patio cover project as single pitch shed roof (234 sf) - Estimation was responsive and flexible to modify project - Checking your project yourself is a must with TNT as some details might be lost between planning and field crews. - Job initially complete after 3 days, took an additional month to complete 1 pier improperly built. - End product completed according to original plans with a damaged sprinkler line due to demoing the incorrectly constructed pier. Our experience with TNT was a mixed one. Estimation was prompt and communication was clear. TNT worked with us to modify our project size to fit our budget. We had detailed plans which they redrafted and submitted for the City permit. All items stayed on schedule leading into construction and communication was clear. During construction we noticed our patio covering was a little short of the concrete pad edge. Upon further review the TNT drafted plans misinterpreted my CADD drawing and called for a shorter roof that would drip water directly on our patio. I spoke with the field staff and they were able to correct it because I caught it soon enough. Upon completion (initially) the concrete pier was formed up incorrectly and was rejected by the City inspector upon initial viewing. It took another month to properly construct the pier. Some of this was back and forth with the City, but a majority of it was waiting on the crew to come on site and to repair the concrete after 2 more tries. During this time, a sprinkler line that was slightly exposed from the initial dig was damaged during the jackhammering of the pier. The crew fixed the line. I tested in the evening to make sure it worked. It’s in the contract to remove all conflicting utilities prior to the work but this would not have been an issue if the pier was constructed correctly the first time(the demoed pier hole widened the original). I think the irrigation line plug was re-damaged with the concrete mixer during the pour as the sprinkler system heads no longer have pressure. I had to repeatedly asked the PM for updates and check with the City permit office to make sure the inspections were getting schedule. The last one either lost on the cities end or not completely filed on TNTs. It felt like we fell off TNTs radar after the initial inspection failed.

They built me a new deck, and removed an old deck one. Did so in a very timely manner, and when finished it was twice the size and they did two levels connecting the two floors of my house in the back yard. It was finished early and came in under my budget. I highly recommend TNT Home improvements for outdoor work!
