I have been a member at Title Boxing Watertown for the past half-year or so. Around a month ago, I approached the staff at Title Boxing Watertown (Massachusetts) and asked them to cancel my membership as I planned to move to New York. The staff told me to cancel my membership in the app, but the app cancellation did not work. I went abroad right after so was unable to get in touch with staff subsequently The cancellation did not happen, and I went to the owner, Sean Lally, and asked him to cancel and not charge me on October 23 (the 23rd is my billing date) because I had made an in-person cancellation request. He again told me to go through the app and refused to honor my cancellation request that I had made previously. I tried to cancel in the app, and the cancellation was not working again. I was shocked by what happened next. When I asked the owner, Sean, to come to some arrangement so that I would not be charged for an entire month that I would not be able to use, he was very rude and refused to come to any sort of mutually satisfying arrangement. Moreover, he told me that it "convenient" for me that in-app cancellation was not working. When I told Sean that he runs his business in an unfair manner, he began to stereotype me and told me "that is why you don't own your own business." When I asked why he thought I didn't he replied "I just assume you don't." This is when our interaction turned from mere rudeness and unprofessionalism into utterly inappropriate behavior. Shortly thereafter, Sean told me to "get out." Needless to say, I no longer feel welcome going to Title Boxing Watertown.

This isn’t your average gym — it’s cardio boxing therapy with gloves on. 🥊 I’ve been coming here for two years and dropped 40 pounds, but more importantly, I gained energy, confidence, and the ability to throw a mean combo while singing along to Taylor Swift. (Yes, they actually play her songs during class — and yes, I punch harder when “Bad Blood” comes on.) Sean, my trainer and former trooper, runs class like a boot camp for your heart and lungs. Lorenzo and Frank bring the perfect mix of energy, humor, and “I might die but I’m having fun” vibes. The workouts are intense — non-stop rounds of punching, core, and cardio — but the energy in this place is unbeatable. I’ve tried other fitness programs, but nothing compares to the rush of this gym: the music’s loud, the lights are low, and everyone’s dripping sweat but smiling. If you want a workout that leaves you exhausted, exhilarated, and slightly addicted, this is the spot. It’s not just a boxing class — it’s a full-body cardio knockout. 💥

The staff here are wonderful and encouraging. I highly recommend the Sunday 10:00 am class with Maddie. She offers modifications for exercises so all bodies and abilities are able to participate. It's only 45 minutes but you will leave feeling like you had a good (but bearable) workout. You can be a pro boxer or a complete newbie; either way, you'll have fun and get a lot of exercise.
