Had very good service from Titan. My AC outside unit blew up (smoke and fluid everywhere). Titan were recommended by my electrician. They were great: checked the warranty and even came out the same day to replace it. The installment took about 5 hrs and the service techs were polite, friendly and thorough. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that when the quote was provided, I was told “$X plus the frion” The price charged for the installation was exactly per the quote, but the final bill was over 50% more due to the charge for the frion which I did not expect to be so expensive. That’s my fault for not asking how much the frion would be but it would be great to have been given a rough idea how much the frion would be in advance. Other than that I fully recommend Titan.

I had an excellent experience with Titan Air Conditioning and Heating! From start to finish, their team was professional, punctual, and highly knowledgeable. They quickly diagnosed the issue with my system, explained everything clearly, and provided a fair and transparent quote before starting any work.
The technicians were courteous, respectful of my home, and ensured everything was clean before they left. The repair was completed efficiently, and my AC has been running perfectly ever since. It’s rare to find a company that combines great customer service, technical expertise, and honest pricing, but Titan delivers on all fronts.
Frequently Asked Questions About Titan Air Conditioning & Heating
How often should AC be serviced in Florida?
In Florida, you might use your AC all year round, and annual HVAC service calls may not be enough to keep your system running like new. For this reason, most HVAC professionals recommend inspections and maintenance twice each year – every six months. This is important for the health of your system. Call us today to receive service from an experienced air conditioner contractor.
What temperature should the AC be on in Florida?
As any air conditioner contractor will tell you, a properly operating air conditioner should cycle for roughly 15 to 20 minutes, two to three times per hour. If the temperature inside your home is very high, is much higher than the temperature that your thermostat is set at, or the outside temperature is very high, the run time will increase.
As a trusted air conditioner contractor, we recommend 78 degrees. The Florida Public Service Commission also states that 78 degrees is the recommended thermostat setting in Florida. However, as stated above, setting it to a higher temperature when you're not at home will still keep your living spaces at comfortable temperatures, while saving you money.
When should I replace my air conditioner?
You should get your air conditioner replaced by a professional air conditioner contractor every 15 to 20 years. Every unit is different, and every homeowner has a different understanding of when their air conditioner is broken beyond repair.
However, it's fair to say that, with proper maintenance and care, you can expect a good 15 to 20 years of cooling from a new high-efficiency air conditioning system. While only around 40% of homeowners call professionals for routine maintenance, air conditioners can last 40% longer with regular maintenance, according to Payless Power.
