Not what I expected. Never asked how low I wanted my strip nor did they ask percentage of my tints. I justed needed two tints done and the strip and I paid way more money than I did when I got the whole car done with another place.

The product and installation look good and were finished on schedule. My overall satisfaction was severely affected, however, by a few key issues: the receptionist was unfriendly, and the he assumed a level of knowledge I didn't possess. I was also concerned that protective plastic was not used on the car seat and door during the installation, risking damage or dirt.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tint World!
I brought in my brand new Tesla Model Y (2026) to tint the windshield, expecting a professional and clean job. Instead, the work was rushed—finished in only about an hour when other tint shops told me it normally takes at least two hours for quality work.
The result showed it: there were bubbles and even visible pieces of dirt/trash stuck inside the film. While I understand that some bubbles can disappear after a few days, dirt under the film is permanent and should never happen.
When I came back the next day to point this out, the same person who did my tint told me it was “normal” and that his work always leaves trash under the tint—not just in one spot but multiple spots. I was shocked by this response. To make it worse, he even compared my Tesla to a Porsche, saying even expensive cars get trash under the film. First, that’s insulting—my car is brand new and precious to me, and second, it’s unacceptable to justify poor workmanship by saying all jobs are messy.
What makes this worse is that I had tinted my entire car (except the windshield) at another shop before, and the job was flawless—no dirt, no trash, no excuses. I regret not going back there for the windshield, all because I wanted to save a little money.
On top of that, just a week ago we had my husband’s Tesla Model Y Performance fully tinted at Tint World too. I didn’t check it closely at the time, but the same tint installer actually told me to bring in my husband’s car so he could show me how much dirt and trash is under that tint as well. Imagine that—trying to prove his poor workmanship by using my husband’s car as an example. That is the worst kind of “anti-advertising” I’ve ever heard.
To make matters worse, they left my car dirty inside after the work and didn’t bother to clean it. The manager Jack told me he would “take care of it” and that I could come back for a redo, but the tint installer himself said if he removes the glue, he’ll leave even more trash inside. That gave me zero confidence in their skills, so I just left.
For the high price we pay for tinting, I expected professional results and respect for my vehicle. Unfortunately, I received neither. Based on my experience, I don’t recommend Tint World for tinting services at all!
When can I roll my windows down after the tint is complete?
