Sarah and Dan helped me understand insurance better, any question I had they had an immediate answer. Very knowledgeable! I was surprised by how low my quote was!

Just got all my insurance switched today. Sarah was so amazing and helpful. She saved me money on my two car insurance policies and my renters insurance, but also got me way better coverage with lower deductibles than I had before. The process couldn't have been easier and I was very pleased with everything. I highly recommend this place! Ask for Sarah because she was such a pleasure to work with!

Sarah helped me with a quote today. My policy ends soon and I wanted to explore our options. She was very sweet. I felt bad as I tried to find all the info she needed while juggling taking care of my baby at the same time. Turns out she's a mom so she completely related and was super patient with me as I found what she needed. Amazing customer service. 10/10 recommend her!

I have been a loyal, 50-year State Farm customer. I went to Tim Harvey and talked to him about transferring all of my policies. I have a shopping center, two rental properties, a personal residence and fourr vehiclesI told him my issue was that my former agent was no longer willing to help me personally with problems On those very few occasions at once I felt his subordinates were unable to do so.
Tim assured me that he would give personal attention to my issues, including the relatively few claims. He did say that he could not promise that he could ALWAYS give it his personal attention. I said I understood.
In fact, however, Apart from our initial conversation at his office when I transferred my policies, he has NEVER given me his personal attention. I have left several messages over the last couple of years asking for personal phone calls from him and he has never had the courtesy to return those calls.
Today, I spoke to his subordinate, Chris Curtis who is also nearly impossible to contact. Chris is personable, and occasionally helpful. Nevertheless, I don't have time to waste going back and forth playing phone tag or sending messages. I suggested to Chris that perhaps Tim Harvey's office wasn't suitable for me as a client. He readily agreed. He told me that it wasn't Tim's "role" to help clients because tim was involved with 401ks and so forth. I can see that the focus there is on collecting commissions and not on helping clients with claims. Tim was very happy to get my business when I brought it over com up and that is absolutely NOT what he told me at that time.
Chris Curtis' disengenuous response was to tell me that, I had brought my business over 2 years ago when things were "different." I don't believe that. Chris says that he alone has "several thousand" clients. You don't accumulate several thousand clients in just 2 years.
I had a retail business for 26 years in San Francisco Bay area with 4 locations and 37 employees, hundreds of suppliers and thousands of customers.
I was never too busy or too important in my own mind to return the call of anyone who wanted to talk to me.
If you're expecting good customer service and assistance with claims, Baser on my experience, I cannot recommend this office.
You might even want to look into putting your insurance with a company other than State Farm, as am I after 50 years with State Farm.
Tim Harvey's refusal to contact me is insufferably arrogant, inconsiderate and disrespectful. It may even constitute "bad faith" under the law. I'm looking into that possibility. HERE IS MY REPLY to.Tim Harvey"s bland, self-serving and disingenuous resoonse which appears below:
Tim did NOT say that he would only reach out twice a year, nor that it was not his "role" to help me.
His "role" is apparently limited to selling and upselling policies and collecting commissions on premiums. If I had wanted to be pawned off to a subordinate who was difficult to contact, I would have stayed with my previous agent.
After writing my review, I was inclined to let things go, but now after reading Tim's insulting and disingengous response, I am inclined to file a formal complaint with the Michigan Department of Insurance. We can let them sort it out. I have my notes from my first meeting with Tim.
