  Having Thunderbird Plumbing solve our Plumbing needs was an excellent decision. The project was on time, within quoted budget, and totally met expectations. Michael was a superb representative of the company. Polite, quiet, got on with the job. We comfortably left our home briefly unattended. For any future needs, we'd ask for his services in an instant.

  Yesterday the regulator on the tap on our bathtub broke and we could not turn off the water and consequently had to turn off the water to the house. I managed to get a hold of Thunderbird Plumbing who said they could have some one there between 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm if not sooner,. A little after 1:00 pm Zack Arrived in the Thunderbird Sprinter Van. He quickly set to work repairing the tub. He also asked to see the water turn of valve where he noticed the water pressure limiter wasn't attached to the house water line but only the outside line. He then checked the water pressure in the house and discovered, as you can see in the picture that it was at 100, when it should be at 75. He suggested replacing that and pointed out that the hot water heater overflow was overfilled and tilting and suggested he replace that as well. While admiring our newer washer and dryer he noted they lacked water hammer arresters. Same for the newer dishwasher up stairs. He said they are code now and should have been stalled with the new appliances. My brother was a city electrical inspector and his son is one now. I know what code is. Every time Zack suggest a repair he would explain what and show me the exact cost on his tablet and tried to give me discount if possible. In the end he replaced the regulator, hereplaced the flush system on the upstairs toilet tank, replaced the water pressure limiter and installed a new valve and installed three water hammer arresters, and replaced the hot water tank overflow tank. It was quite a bit of money, and while my wife still works I am a pensioner. However, high water pressure is like high blood pressure, it is a problem waiting to happen . I feel much better about the house plumbing and Zack did such a good job minor cosmetic jobs I can do myself. I would highly recommend Thunderbird Plumbing and Zach J for your plumbing needs..

  Brodie carefully replaced the cartridges in the faucets that fill my claw foot tub, and very senior bathroom sink, in my 1911 home. I really appreciated how he communicated his arrival time, arrived on time, was respectful of my possessions/ house, was sweet with my pets, was knowledgable when diagnosing the problems, and explained the problems to me with patience. Brodie was efficient and capable; funny and kind. This is the third time I’ve used Thunderbird Plumbing, and I feel lucky to have discovered them.

  Just to pile on to the list of 5* reviews - Thunderbird have been perfect the two times we've used them and will now be our go-to plumbers in Vic. Easy to book, good communication, gave us clear quotes, friendly, speedy, and professional. I know nothing about plumbing but the work looks good too.

  First off. We had our appointment Scheduled for Thursday in the afternoon and were expecting to have them out that day to take a look at our faucet. However, MONDAY, Thunderbird called and asked if we were able to allow them to see us earlier…which I happened to be able to accommodate. They gave me a time that the tech would be here, and he was actually a couple of mins earlier than they expected. Dillan was the tech that came out to us. He was very respectful and calm during this whole process. He came up, took a look at the faucet and gave me his option of what it might be. He offered us several quotes to the repair, one being a basic cleaning, one being the potential replacement of the part and one being the replacement of the entire faucet. We ended up choosing the part as the option. Dillan was able to go into the faucet, clean it up and asked us to take a look at it. It was working, but still having some very minor issues. As our faucet was installed over 10 years ago, we decided to have him replace the part. He went out without any complaints, and was able to find the part, and install it in a very reasonable time frame. It’s definitely working much better now. We are happy with the work. If I had one complaint, it would be the cost. The cost seemed a little high for about an hours worth of work, including having him have to go and find the part, but because of the friendliness and apparent capability of the tech, we were happy to have them take care of this problem for us. Personally? I highly recommend Thunderbird. They were very upfront with everything and didn’t do the quote until the tech was onsite. That was very helpful and appreciated. They seem to be a little pricey, but worth it in the end… (in my opinion)
