Timothy Lake North RV Campground is a seasonal RV campground in Pennsylvania that sits in the heart of the Poconos Mountains, Pennsylvania's biggest tourist attraction. Downtown Stroudsburg is home to many restaurants, shopping, art galleries, specialty shops and a theater. It is a commercial hub as well as a historic center boasting impressive residential and commercial architecture.

- TQThomas “TFN” QuinnSep 26, 20251.0Reserved a campsite specifically stating that I was tent camping, then drove 2 hrs to get there only to be told Nope no tent camping unless you also have an RV on site. Wasted my gas, got my hopes up, got my sons hopes up only to be dashed. I feel like I should receive some sort of compensation for the inconvenience of having to reschedule at a new campground last minute.

- MRmichael riveraJun 21, 20253.0The pool is out of service, the men’s bathhouse, very dirty, one of the toilets has been clogged for weeks. No one is cleaning the bathhouses. They put so much money into updating the bathhouse and they aren’t keeping them clean. What really drives me crazy the bath house door hasn’t had a door closer on it for years. The doors always open bugs like crazy. Very poor up keep by the staff.

This go round I was not pleased about the assigned spots, ( they pick it) the first spot they assigned us was NO way for us to fit, and looked as if it was never used as a camp site. I called they gave us two other options one being in the front which was a no go since the park is close and we didn’t wanna hear kids early in the morning the second was in the middle of other campers which wasn’t bad just not what we pick when we come here. We usually pick an end spot that’s quiet and alone. Go back to picking your own spot or at least have the options of allowing us to pick our spot upon booking. I can’t say anything bad the bath houses as we have a travel trailer. The pool is being repaired atm, the grounds where we camp are clean, could use some mowing and trimming but all in all I like it here however not so sure if we will come back if the spot selection don’t change. If it’s a thousand trails change then that may affect our renewal of our membership. Update 5 other campers weren’t happy with the assigned spots either two of them had to move 3 times due to no water no room or no electricity. Really hope this changes asap. I’ll be calling a head prior to booking to check because I won’t drive 3plus hrs to not enjoy my down time nor continue to pay for something (assigned spot) that I don’t want.
