As soon as you arrive at Thousand Trails South Jetty RV Campground you will be greeted with a warm welcome from your Ranger who is there to help in any way possible. Driving to your site you will pass several of the large trees that grow throughout this Oregon Coast RV campground. On the right, you notice members enjoying an arts and crafts workshop in the Activity Lodge.
Once you've parked you walk around to see what exactly Thousand Trails South Jetty has to offer. You may even have time to check out a movie in the Lodge. At our Oregon Coast RV campground, you might see kids running down to the blacktop to shoot some basketball or searching the walking trails for salamanders.
Come to Thousand Trails South Jetty for comfort, relaxation and enjoyment!
Very cool place. Campsites are fairly secluded. Lots of trees!

We stayed in one of the cabins and really enjoyed it. They are fairly new and comfortable.
Other nice amenities, like activity center, laundry, etc.
Would stay again.

We combed the website prior to booking our 3-day stay.
When we arrived the attendant turned us away because of a policy not allowing schoolies, and that she noticed a window "busted out". I corrected this--all of our windows are intact! The response was "it looked like it to me" This policy is not stated on the website. The attendant walked away several times while we tried talking to her. I finally asked her to point me in the right direction to find that policy. She went to get another person, I assumed the supervisor.
She then took a flyer off the wall and flipped through several pages before finding it. She showed it to the first attendant but not to me until I asked. There was no mention of schoolies--she said it was implied. Sorry, not good enough. These policies need to be explicit!
They get a second star only because when I asked for recommendations for other campgrounds, their tones and demeanors changed for the better, they offered 3 options, and when I asked for a refund, they agreed, though the first attendant hesitated the first time my husband asked.
It's probably a fine campground, but their policies are not clearly well-written, and their attitudes were short and rude when turning us away. They clearly didn't appreciate being challenged
