Thousand Trails Soledad Canyon is a beautiful campground with resort-style amenities nestled at the base of the San Gabriel mountains. This Los Angeles RV campground is well shaded with towering cottonwood trees and Italian Stone Pines as well as Palm and Elm trees. It boasts the largest swimming pool in the west surrounded by 15 acres of picnic areas. Soledad Canyon RV Campground boasts a large, active family lodge as well as an area designed for adults, with a second private swimming pool.
This Thousand Trails' Los Angeles RV campground is located about 15 minutes away from major shopping centers and 1 hour from attractions like Universal and Six Flags Magic Mountain, although when you're at Soledad Canyon RV Campground you feel like you're away from it all.
We really did enjoy staying here. Some sites are better than others which I believe you’re working on. We really enjoyed the quietness and watching the squirrels and Listening to the birds. The only downfall was the Pickleball courts. We wanted to play In the beautiful night, but the lights did not come on and the fence on one side is too low so you have to chase the ball. Other than that, we had a wonderful time keep working at it thousand trails

Unfortunately there are a lot of very trashy people who regularly stay in the campground. There are always belligerent drunk people trying to start fights with people. There are constantly off leash dogs who try to attack other people and dogs. There was someone who lit a trailer on fire trying to unalive the occupants inside it, which caused a tree to catch fire and the campground to be evacuated. It’s not a safe place for families. I’m from out of state and have stayed there when in town visiting my family, but with all the violence I keep seeing, I would never stay there if I were a woman, or if I had children with me.

Beautiful views and a lovely camp. The train does run, and honk, all thru the night. Had to get used to that.

Thousand Trails is now assigning sites which is not good. I liked it better when we could pick our site. We arrived at 11:50am and we went to check in and we were told we had to wait until 12pm because that is the time to check in. Office staff was rude and not friendly the only staff member who was friendly and very helpful to us was Sage. Thank you, Sage!!!! We asked if we could have Amazon delivered and they said "yes" but we will charge you a $10 handling fee per package. That is crazy considering all they do is take the package from Amazon. Thousand Trails Soledad only cares about selling the camping passes not about the "campers". Weeds are so high and a ton of stickers. We have been coming here since 2007 and it was a really nice campground. This campground needs a lot of TLC it has a lot of potential.

went for my birthday weekend. when we arrived we were put in a space that had weeds bigger than my trailer. my husband went to the office and they moved us. put in notes we wanted to be next to family members but apparently that was impossible even though so many sites around were empty. section b is the worst section. train horns almost every hour. its really loud. barley slept the first night had to wear earplugs the rest of our stay. no service for Verizon in that section. also had a neighbor blaring music as security drove through. they did nothing. I asked security what time was quiet time and they told me 11. if you stay bring a rake, shovel, and earplugs. staff is nice and bathrooms are cleaned daily
