The woman who drives the white Chevy single cab who works in the front office by the road is rude and hateful we are having a baby shower this evening and needed handsoap for the dispenser in the pavilion we rented and instead of calling and letting the house keeper know she said this is all I have and gave us hand sanitizer to use in the men’s bathroom and we only had one roll of tp so we picked some up from the house before we realized the toilet paper was low she was 4 minutes late and looked like she rolled out of bed and threw anything she could find on she shouldn’t work with the public if she’s like that hopefully she gets hailed accountable for being late and we called at 1 to see about soap before going down there to the office and she still hasn’t turned the phones on we have had a membership here maybe won’t renew since she act like she does the other woman is nice sometimes if another campground around had the amenities I wouldn’t be back here but I don’t live 20 or so minutes away so it’s the closest technically

We were on the lake after Labor Day...great! But, if we had a neighbor on the side our awnings would overlapped. Driving way back to the rest of the park made us thankful for the placement.

Nice park with LOTS of hills to walk, and if you don't have a vehicle or golf cart and they put you in Phase 2, THERE'S absolutely nothing else for adults to do besides WALK!! There are 2 or 3 nicely paved roads, the rest are so rutted w/pot holes, a person can easily twist or break an ankle. There's NO laundry in phase 2 and Phase 1 where closest laundry is about 1.7 miles away w/2 big hills to climb; I walked 34 miles in a week...nothing else to do!!!

I've never given a bad review, as I am usually quick to empathize and understand other perspectives, but this stay had so few wins, that I have to be honest and share my experience. We stayed in our 5th wheel RV which is almost 45' long, so they get a star for being able to accommodate us. Be warned that the roads are falling apart with very jagged edges and deep potholes. The road signage (ie One-way, street names) is placed for maximum confusion. The staff are snarky and blameful. This can best be shared by our check in experience, but occured with every staff encounter. After a very awkward check in where I guess I was supposed to read the front desk girls mind and know, by her silent stare, which questions to ask, we were directed to site "C" and it was occupied. No biggie, site "B", next to it, was available. So I called the office to make sure we could take B. The call was sent to an after hours number. While that person was helpful in calling the front desk, he made it clear that I shouldn't have called him during business hours. The front desk called us back and would not let us have site B, stating it was booked. Instead, we were sent down to site X on the same row, with staff claiming it had 50 amp, so they moved us. We didn't ask for 50, but thanks! Site X did not have 50 amp, and theres a notice on the post at one of the two 30 amp outlets: open ground. Do NOT use!!! The site was very awkward to get into for our size, and there was no sky view (as requested in booking,) due to beautiful tree coverage. The trees also gave the bonus treat of ticks crawling on all of our outdoor surfaces. Since we didn't get a site with sky-view for starlink which we need for work, we purchased access to the campground wifi ($35). The speeds and connection are abysmal- could not load a webpage. The lake is quite large, and long-term sites block the shoreline everywhere but the main beach which was a 5 minute drive from our site. Normally, we would suggest riding a bike to the beach, but the campground has long, steep hills and fast vehicles. Boat rentals are available, but only during the hottest part of the day. They have a water obstacle course that is only open during the weekend (its mid-August) The pool and lounge furniture are very nice and there are no shade structures. The campground has extensive trails, all closed until further notice. Oh, and if you've read this far, I can tell you site B was occupied for 2 nites and the trailer would have easily fit into site X.
