The camp ground is over grown with trees, brush, extremely difficult to pull a 35ft 5th wheel and maneuver in spots or not side swiping landscape objects, and at times vehicles due to lack of space from overgrown landscap. Nothing worse then branches in sight view, scraping awnings, windows. Ac units, side paneling etc. The campsite wont hold accountability for damage from these real case issues and will punish you if you attempt to clear the overgrown landscape. I reserve 6 months in advance while driving through campsite finding many sites open for staff to say nothing else is available when in fact sites aren't in "current time" full "only online reserved" requiring me to not utilize my 4 plus year membership effortlessly. Staff isn't the friendliest and tend to have multiple excuses vs resolutions. Ive seen other members get the same parking site multiple times through the season yet feeling I get pushed out into the sites that are less desirable or most difficult to get into. Its disappointing how friendly and considerate the organization is when getting you signed up with a big membership purchase, and then putting you bottom of the barrel after the contract is finalized. I used to enjoy utilizing the thousand trails membership, but now its become more of a hassle each time. I attempt to contact the ranger station on many different occasions while never getting a pickup knowing staff is available at location. I never get a call back from management nor been able to meet management when requested. Sounds like a vacation home for everyone but myself. Would love to see corporation get involved and set the standards a little higher so the camping experience can feel as good as it looks on paid advertising!!
