At Indian Lakes RV Campground, our personal mission has been to create a setting where families and groups can come to enjoy nature and one another with a feeling of security. This Thousand Trails RV campground in Indiana is so much more than a place to park; our recreation department is dedicated to involving and exciting everyone in your family throughout the year.
Here at Indian Lakes RV campground in Batesville, Indiana, we offer a wonderful selection of rental accommodations, including rustic cabins nestled between a couple of waterways. The cabins are equipped with full kitchens and baths. Our lakeside lodge, pavilion and gazebos may be rented for weddings, reunions and outings.

- MAMarilyn Anderson4 days ago3.0We are towards the end of our 2.5 month cross country trip, we stayed at Indian Lakes the last 2 weeks of October. I would like to start by saying I love that fact there is a security gate at entrance but, charging our guest $10 to come visit us is ridiculous! Oh, and if you need to receive a package they charge $5 per package to receive it 🤷🏼‍♀️ Laundry room and Restrooms need regular cleaning service. Cabins could use pressure washing on the outside. Pot holes on roads. Spots are level with gravel. We stayed on campsite #5028 which is in the circle behind the pool by the lake. The mature trees of all the fall colors is absolutely breathtaking!! We noticed there are concrete sites possibly for handicap. Sand Volleyball, Beach, Pool, Children’s Playground, picnic table & fire pits at each site.

- SGSusie GoldsteinSep 29, 20254.0We stayed at this park for two weeks. The site was a back in and we had to put a block under the front wheels but overall a good FHU site. The park itself is huge with a lot of annuals and I enjoyed my daily walks to the lake.
- JCJames CarterSep 21, 20254.0A tad disappointed in the way they assign slots to various groups, but I understand the concept. It's basically give the crappie (sorry, less desirable) spaces to the lowest paying and shortest term. However, with so many open spots late in the season, why not enhance your visitors experience and promote your campground. Yes, outside club members pay less, but we also have big dues at our home resort plus the club dues every year. So, to be isolated to the less desirable space does not promote the campground. I'm a former Thousand Trail's member and see it from both sides. But campgrounds should be in the "experience" business more than the "quick buck" business. Travelers like ourselves are looking for new home spaces at every stop. Our accommodations are the first impression of a campground. And with the 100+ sites we see a year, first impressions dictate where our money goes in a lot of cases. So, great location, slightly above reasonable prices (for a seasonal home), pretty average customer service for Thousand Trail's (always one-star above out group's average), but too short term vision on outside club accommodations. Solid Four-Star resort/destination. I would rate this resort just below Woodhaven Lakes in destination spots for short to medium vacation.
