I camp at this park alot since I'm a full time rving. It's clean in the cabins, the bathouses are spacious and clean. The spaces are very large and easy to get into. The people there are amazing!

Forest Lake is a beautiful setting. Has all of the space and most of the amenities people want. But poorly maintained. I asked for a level site for my 38β motorhome. I ended up with an uphill entrance that ripped off my exhaust (which will cost $800 to replace). Some amenities are simply just falling apart. It appears that Thousand Trails does not provide enough resources or staff. Everyone was friendly and we did not use the bathhouses.

Had some friends visiting from out of town who parked their RV here and we went to visit for the day. Beautiful grounds, clean, lots to do. The fishing pond was so much fun. They had equipment available in the rangers station for any activity like canoes, paddles for pickleball etc. The swimming pools looked well maintained and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

.Great open spacious campground, lots of amenities on the lake, swimming, fishing, tubing, boating sites are big and spacious. Nice campground again. I must say family friendly. Everyone camping was nice.
Now let's talk about the ranger up front. So I drove in and past the code box and wave nicely and just flashed my green pass. So I could get buzzed through the ranger came out screaming. The key pad is back there!!!!!
...I kindly said sorry could you please buzz me through...."RANGER WORDS".. "I GOT TO MUCH TO DO".....π£.she was eating her lunch...so that put one star off IMMEDIATELY as i did not talk to her in such a tone....ANYWAYS,,,
moving right along...
Upon our arrival we set up camp, and found the lot we were put in was UNLEVEL and thats OK ..but no water!!!
Wow the place had all bathhouse closed and we had no water at the site!!!!
So then we were told after calling that the water had a leak and it was being fixed, lots of down talk through the campgrounds about the place, crazy bad smell of sewage came over the whole campground and then the water was working!!? Hmmmm
I gave four stars because of location
