  STAY AWAY. After being a patron of this store since they moved into their uptown location, my kids and I have loved going to this store. I have spend so much money, as things are over priced, but its worth it if it means a store stays in Whittier. Now that my child ia old enough to go to this store alone 14 she went to the store look around while I was at another store with her brother. After she picked up a toy and ralized it was out of her budget, she out it down and was walking to go back to me when the The gentleman who was working followed her and told her to go back because she was stealing. He ev. Threatened to call the cops. My child is shy and non combative. With fear she went back and showed him where she had left the item. All I can say, I no longer feel bad seeing what the Wishing Well has become to what it was I past years. I will make sure to tell everyone I can what you did and made my daughter feel. This mama bear will always protect her kid from peiple like you. You discriminate against my child for her age and after speaking to her friends and their experiences a the Wishing Well I am 100% it was her skin color too. Do better.

  The Wishing Well – Uptown Whittier Such a cool toy store with a wonderfully nostalgic feel—from the old-school snacks to the unique selection of toys. My kids absolutely love it, and we try to stop by whenever we’re in the area. The people running the store are warm and welcoming, which makes every visit even better. A true gem in Uptown Whittier!
