Pictures overstate the reality of the current state of the bulding. Room smelled musty and wet and was dark. There were not USB ports in the room. A lot of noise, construction. But location and staff were nice.

First of all the lady at the front desk with the good style…pink earrings and stylish glasses. yep I like her! She is the first person guests interact with, her level of class and professionalism is wonderful! I’m not going to go into detail but I have had a horrible week! On top of that I am extremely sleep deprived! I walked in and there was some confusion with the booking that was an oversight on my part. Instead of making me feel stupid she fixed the issue and was able to accomodate me. I just appreciate the kindness of this woman more than anything. The hotel is flawless, I wouldn’t change a thing. The cleanliness is IMPECCABLE! We were super happy here and I’m coming back! 🌻 Thank you wildwood hotel! You turned what was almost a stressful end to a stressful week into a restful nights sleep! 😭 thank you❤️.

Read about the beds below (they deserve one star just because of the beds)
This is an older hotel, some things get better with age, some things don't. Usually hotels get really nasty when they get older. But they've maintained this hotel really well. It's aged to like fine wine. And it still has many more years. Because the proper upkeep and care has been taken with this hotel. It's kind of a historic relic.
So far, I've enjoyed the stay here and I would highly recommend it. The price is great.
The breakfast isn't anything to rave about. It's always fun to eat the waffles, and they have that.
They have a lot of smaller options available. But just kind of makes it diverse. (Hard boiled eggs, some good oatmeal, granola bars) Just average for a cheaper hotel.
No weird smell with the rooms or hallways. It's a beautiful little building. It's kind of surrounded by its own little town, it's kinda like a ghost town a little bit. But it's a cute town.
Jacuzzi and pool are OK. One of the better hotels I would say nothing extravagant it's older. But I enjoyed It. Hot tub could've been much hotter, and the jets could have worked better.
Now the only flaw: A lot of the reviews mentioned the mattresses. And I have to say that that's Probably the only downfall. I'm pretty content on any mattress, or even the floor. I don't have back problems. So I'm not picky. I've never really been to a hotel Where the bed has been an issue.
And the beds almost seem brand new, it's like the brand they got is really springy and airy. It's really bad, my back actually I woke up hurting this morning. The mattresses are horrible.
They are doable, If you have back problems, it's not for you though. It would do good to this hotel to replace all their beds. I would say that is the biggest downfall of this hotel.
The mattress is just horrible if you're sleeping with another person on the bed and you're heavier they'll sit up higher and you will sit lower, it feels like a deflated air mattress, But an unstable one.

Incredible hotel especially for the price. Inviting curb appeal which is surpassed when you walk into the invite and well appointed lobby. Rooms are extremely spacious and also well appointed. Light breakfast is an understatement with pastries, breakfast sandos, waffles, hard boiled eggs and more!
Star rating
1-awful (because you can't give 0 stars)
2-less than average
3-average/expected
4-above average/exceeded expectations
5-outstanding / greatly exceeded expectations

This is a beautiful hotel with friendly and professional staff, clean rooms with great amenities, a convenient parking garage, and fun little pool and hot tub. However, breakfast was very limited and did not have many options to choose from.
