  Haven't lived here but beautiful building. Haven't seen ballard in 30 years what a change. Wiggens and sons funeral home use to be at this site. Progress i guess. Now you have to leave ballard for a funeral.

  Thor from The Wilcox maintenance team is absolutely outstanding! He is professional, polite, and incredibly responsive. Every time we submit a request, he shows up quickly and resolves the issue with skill and care. It's rare to find someone so reliable and courteous in property maintenance.   After 1 month of living here….Unannounced intrusion at 9:27pm without a phone call. We didn’t hear anyone knock, and maintenance let themselves in and alerted us by flickering the lights on and off, waking up our toddler. No surprise, but they didn’t find the leak they were looking for because we didn’t have one and we said this much. This happened just three weeks after an intruder was pounding on our doors (the entire floor) with attempted entry at each unit, in the middle of the night. Honestly, a scary place to live at this point. If you have any anxiety issues, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.

  Absolutely love living at The Wilcox! From the moment I moved in, the experience has been nothing short of amazing. The building is modern, clean, and located in the heart of Ballard—close to everything you need, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. A huge shoutout to Blaine and Jacob—they’ve been incredibly helpful, friendly, and responsive. Whether it’s answering questions, helping with move-in logistics, or just being a welcoming presence in the building, they go above and beyond to make residents feel at home. Also, major kudos to the maintenance team—they’re prompt, professional, and always keep the building in top shape. Any issue I’ve had has been resolved quickly and with care. If you’re looking for a place in Ballard that combines comfort, convenience, and a truly supportive team, The Wilcox is it. Highly recommend!

  I want to leave a specific review of leasing consultant Blaine to commend him for how he handled a building wide electricity outage this past weekend. Effectively and frequently communicated with all tenants so we know what was happening, that he and Thor covered the front door since fobs didn't work, and asked the we definitely contact him with any specific issues or questions. The 3 star is for Avenue 5 but I give Blaine 5 stars.
