I stay at the Watermark from time to time for work and generally have a good experience. However, after checking out on October 9th, I realized that I had left an Invisalign retainer and expensive hair straightener behind (completely on me). I have called FOUR times, talked to the front desk, been passed to house keeping and left messages and have never received one call back. In the past when I left a pillow, it was kept safe and sound for six months until retrieval, but due to the value of the hair iron and likely disposal of the Invisalign, I am not worth a call back. It costs more than $800 to replace these items and the experience has been disappointing to say the least.

We really liked this very cool hotel. Suite was spacious, view was great, parking was convenient, outside space off the 11th floor lobby was unique, and breakfast was generous. One issue that could effect some was the problem with the elevators both days. I will assume that is not typically a problem. I'll be happy to return to the Watermark.

Great hotel.
The hotel has parking in the basement and you can come and go using the room key as access card. Check for the right entrance to the parking building.
Reception is on the 11 floor and all the rooms are above that.
Restaurants are very nice. We didn't use them but checked them out and they looked inviting and pretty.
The rooms are huge. Bed is big and comfy. Pillows in two size options. Bathroom with a huge shower.
And you get a kitchenette.
The best part is location: next door to a Wegmans and just 2 min away from a Metro station. On the 11 floor there is a direct exit to The Perch that has mini golf, food trucks and is next to a beer garden with huge screens to watch sports.
And did I say that everything is spotless clean?
We had the MOST amazing weekend stay at The Watermark Hotel in Tysons, VA for my baby shower, and it was unforgettable! The hotel is stunning, spotless, and so convenient with a Wegmans right downstairs and the delicious Wren restaurant inside.
But the real star of our stay was Ugur. As soon as he found out we were in town for my baby shower, he went above and beyond to make us feel special. At almost 8 months pregnant, he made sure I was comfortable the entire time and treated us like VIPs. His kindness honestly made us feel at home, and we didn’t want to leave VA!
This hotel is already incredible, but Ugur made it truly unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

Luxurious and premium feel, clean and modern, spacious, only a few minor complaints, I just wish I had a reason to stay here longer.
Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. Parking is paid, in an attached maze-like garage with an initially confusing set of elevators and doors. If you are taking public transit or taxi, this is a total non-issue, but parking cars can be a little baffling, especially if you are tired.
Now, on to the good. The rooms are enormous, modern, and absolutely packed with amenities and lighting. No more dim hotel rooms with only lamps. You get ceiling lights! Heated bathroom mirrors, showers you could park a 747 in, more cabinets than you might have at home, a trash can of actually usable dimensions, etc. It even has free breakfast, which, I unfortunately could not utilize, but many hotels of similar price do not seem to offer this at all, and I cannot imagine the quality of this provided meal could be poor enough that I should not recommend it.
Now, this is not the cheapest place in the world to stay, but even though it is objectively higher price than some places I have stayed, for the DC area, and especially for the class of service, it is phenomenal.
