I have had consistently negative experiences at this UPS location. The employees here are always extremely rude and condescending. This is the closest UPS store to me, and sometimes I have no choice but to bring my packages here instead of another location. Instead of helping with shipping or returns, they repeatedly scold customers in a harsh tone and act as if offering assistance is beneath them.
Their behavior is unprofessional and unacceptable. I was holding a heavy box and accidentally dropped it on the scale. Instead of offering help, the employee raised his voice at me and started lecturing me for being “careless,” even though it was clearly an accident. Right before me, he was also scolding another woman simply because she used a larger return bag instead of a small one. He snatched the bag out of her hands and demanded, in a rude and commanding tone, that she “stuff” her return into the smaller package — even though it clearly didn’t fit.
This is by far the most unprofessional UPS experience I’ve ever had.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I have to give major credit to Sean, the manager at the Foothill Ranch UPS Store. My sister and I came in to get something notarized, and while we were there, we noticed just how much this team, especially Sean, handles on a daily basis.
Even when the store was extremely busy (there was practically a line out the door at one point), Sean remained calm, respectful, and attentive to every customer. He greeted each person with a “hello” or “welcome in,” and you could tell he genuinely wanted to help everyone — even when some customers clearly weren’t making it easy.
It was eye-opening to see how many people didn’t take the time to read the posted directions or try to follow the simple Amazon return steps on their own. Instead, they expected the staff to do it all for them. Through all of that, Sean stayed professional, patient, and even kept a sense of humor. He handled rude and entitled behavior with more grace than most people could.
Yes, Sean can be direct and has a loud personality, but that’s exactly what’s needed in a fast-paced environment like that. It’s clear he cares about running the store efficiently while keeping things moving for everyone.
Sean truly deserves recognition for his hard work, leadership, and patience. The world could use more managers like him, professional, kind, and tough enough to handle just about anything that comes through the door.
I frequent UPS for my shipping and Amazon returns. Sean is a VERY patient owner, many of the customers I’ve seen interact with him are disgruntled because they are privileged and expect him to do free labor instead of following the clear directions given at the store for how to return Amazon items. And it’s also clear when you are submitting a return on the Amazon site when you need to provide your own box or other supplies — it’s not on him to provide those items and do the work for you for free. He is running a business. I’ve seen customers get straight up aggressive with him for no reason. Happy to support this UPS store, they provide excellent customer service every time.
As a new customer, Sean was initially kind and helpful, but shortly after, he began complaining about how rude all his customers were, using that to justify his bad reviews. He even asked me — and I later saw him asking others — to leave him good reviews, which I did at first out of sympathy.
After a few months of going there, I started noticing how rude he was to other customers for no reason — and eventually, to me as well. Everyone seems to tiptoe around him since he treats customers like an inconvenience, even though our Amazon returns are what keep his UPS store earning well.
Now I understand: the positive reviews likely come from kind people who felt pressured or guilted into defending him, while the negative ones come from those of us who experienced his truly awful behavior firsthand. Never in my life has anyone been so rude.
He seems bitter and miserable, likely because he can’t keep employees due to his condescending attitude — so he ends up working full time and overtime himself. We only go there because it’s the closest location, but I’d rather drive ten minutes farther than continue supporting his abusive behavior. This is unacceptable!
We have to unite as a community and file a formal complaint to UPS corporate office (mail or call), I did it.
