I have nothing but good things to say about the Kailua UPS Store team. I run a small business, so sometimes packages get shipped to my business name, sometimes to my personal name, and sometimes my ID/address don’t match perfectly (my organization skills: 0, UPS Store patience: 10,000).
They’ve never made me feel stupid or like a hassle (which is how I feel for inconveniencing them lol) they’re friendly, accommodating, and always find a solution while still following the proper security checks.
Just yesterday, I showed up with packages addressed only to my business name and no proof linking me to that business on me (unless my hat and bikini and bag counted🤣). We figured it out together by verifying my phone number on the package. They could have been annoyed, but instead they stayed patient and kind.
I also want to shout out the UPS delivery drivers, they’ve always been respectful of my delivery notes and leave packages exactly where I’ve specified. Never had an issue with delivery at all 🩷
As for the in-store team, I’ve seen them handle some seriously pushy customers with grace. One time, a woman tried to cut the line in front of me to get help making copies, and the staff handled it calmly, professionally, and without letting her derail the whole operation.
To anyone reading the negative reviews: patience, empathy, and a good attitude go a long way here. Just read instructions and follow their policy and don’t be afraid to ask questions. They are very helpful. Shipping can be stressful, but if you come in with kindness, you’ll leave happy, just like I always do. Mahalo UPS team!!
