  had such a great experience at this UPS Store. I came in feeling overwhelmed with a few things I needed to ship, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. They were patient, friendly, and took the time to answer all my questions without rushing me. They helped me box everything up properly and made sure everything was secure for shipping. It really felt like they cared and wanted to make the process as smooth as possible. I left feeling taken care of and grateful for their customer service. Highly recommend this location — thank you for being so kind and helpful!

  UPS stores get terrible reviews in general. But some of them stand out above others. The Mill Creek UPS Store on 50 Market Street in South Portland, Maine, is one of these standouts. I was always happy with their service for the occasional shipment or photocopy job when I lived in the South Portland area. That was before I moved overseas in November 2018. Six months later I needed to have a grandfather clock shipped from Maine to the Netherlands. Taige reassured me that he would personally make a custom crate for the clock, and that it should arrive undamaged. And he did, and it did! Every space in the crate was filled with one of a variety of packing materials. Even the glass was covered with a special blue tape to prevent it from cracking. Very impressive! However, here's a warning for anyone wishing to do international shipping: Count on a delay getting your package through customs--something handled a bit clumsily by always-friendly UPS contractors in Europe. (BTW: You will likely need to pay customs for any gift or purchase, but not for your possessions that you ship to yourself.) But such overseas hassles have nothing to do with the Mill Creek UPS Store. Everything done at their end was truly excellent!

  These guys are great and very helpful. I see a few poor reviews, and unfortunately when it comes to shipping etc, companies like this are often at the mercy of the the carrier. Even if you have an item that is insured it can still take time for the company/carrier to issue a credit. My company ships thousands of packages a year, and it's just part of the deal...
