Worst experience ever! I shipped a package of clothing from my home address in NY to my Florida address, which is something I do quite often. I explained that I wouldn’t be there to receive it, but that my caretaker would go over and put it inside for me. The employee suggested I purchase insurance as the contents were around $1500.00. What he NEGLECTED to tell me was that someone would need to be there to sign for it, and I did not realize the package needed a signature until I logged into my UPS account the next day. Needless to say, I would have never purchased the insurance if I knew someone needed to be home for the delivery to sign for it. I called the store the next day and they basically said they couldn’t help me. When I asked why I wasn’t told the package would need a signature, I didn’t get a reason, just a statement that all packages with insurance over $1000.00 require a signature. I then contacted UPS directly, and was able to arrange for the package to be delivered to my neighbor in the next building. The package was scheduled for delivery today, and he waited patiently but the package never arrived. When I checked the website it said that they were unable to deliver it and it was being re-routed. My neighbor was in fact home, however it seems as though the driver was too lazy to carry the package upstairs, as the elevators were not working and were being repaired. I went back to the UPS store to see if they could help me remove the signature and have the delivery rescheduled, but I got absolutely no help, other than to tell me what I already know. Bottom line is the staff at this location is not very helpful, nor are they well trained at their jobs.
I had a complicated and hectic situation, but Shalena was absolutely outstanding. She handled everything with such kindness, patience, and professionalism. I'm not sure what her position is, but she clearly has excellent management qualities. Her support made a stressful experience so much easier. I'm truly grateful for her help.
On the morning of August 26, I had an outstanding experience at UPS thanks to the assistance provided by Chaz. From the very beginning, he was courteous, considerate, and attentive to every detail of the service I needed. His professionalism and kind attitude made the process smooth, efficient, and pleasant. I have had several customer service experiences in different places, but I can confidently say that Chaz’s service stands out as one of the very best I have ever received. I truly appreciate his dedication and excellent disposition, which make a significant difference in the overall quality of the service.

Staff are so helpful, patient, and courteous to every customer that came in. They took their time helping me and never rushed me twice in one day! Just as great my third time there.
