    I don’t usually take the time to write reviews, but my experience at The UPS Store with Austin deserves recognition. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with a warm and professional attitude that immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. I had a few different things I needed done—some shipping, some packaging, and a couple of questions about printing—and Austin handled everything with patience and care. What really stood out was how knowledgeable he was. He explained all my options clearly, broke down pricing without making it confusing, and even offered suggestions that saved me time and money. Instead of rushing me through, he made sure I understood each step and felt comfortable with my choices. You can tell he takes pride in his work and genuinely cares about customers having the best experience possible. On top of being professional, Austin was also personable and kind, which made the whole process stress-free. It’s rare these days to find an associate who goes above and beyond the way he did. Because of the service I received from Austin, I’ll absolutely be using this UPS Store. again, and I’ll be recommending it to friends and family. If you need help with shipping, printing, or anything else, ask for Austin—you won’t be disappointed!

    I want to add in my two cents about my experience at this Lakewood Ranch location which is always busy when I go there. It appears understaffed for the number of people who use this branch, but the Amazon returns seem to add to this on top of people shipping items. I had two Amazon returns that I had to make and wasn't as organized as I should be. Despite the long line, Matthew helped me with my returns and when I apologized profusely, he smiled and told me not to worry about it because I was more organized than most. Just before this, I heard another woman in front of me berate him because he was unable to take her box left over from her Amazon return. She was beyond abusive. I don't know how the people who work with the public tolerate this and just want to say to UPS that you should do more to protect your employees from this abusive behavior by nasty people.

    This is by far the worst service I have ever received at a UPS store. I went to this location (Lakewood Ranch – Lorraine, Store #14621) asking for help because my package was heavy and I have a hernia, so I could not carry it on my own. Instead of offering any assistance, I was only told to grab a cart. I had to go all the way to my car, pick up the package, and bring it inside without anyone helping me lift it. To make matters worse, not even when I was trying to get through the door with the heavy cart did anyone offer to open it for me. They just stood there while I struggled to push the cart and the package inside the store. On top of that, the package was separated as part of the order (that’s how it was shipped to me), and they insisted I had to buy a big box. However, the return instructions clearly said that with the QR code I could return it for free. Instead, I was forced to look for tape in my car and wrap everything myself. While I was struggling to do this, the employee just watched me without offering any help. The employee, named Matthew, was extremely rude and unhelpful. It is truly disappointing to walk into a place like UPS, where the expectation is at least some assistance, guidance, or courtesy. Instead, the experience was made harder and more unpleasant. Very unprofessional and unacceptable customer service.
