  I have had many wonderful interactions with The Toy Chest, and my favorite attribute is their superb customer service! I have ordered numerous items online, and I highly recommend their "packages" (I have ordered various ones including games, birthday, stocking stuffers), as the staff are toy experts and always have creative suggestions for gifts. I have also visited the store in person, and it is a charming place with a huge selection of items. Highly recommend The Toy Chest!

  The Toy Chest holds a very special place in my family. When I was a child, it was a treat to stop on our way to summer camp. They always carried special items that couldn’t be found anywhere else. Now that I am grown with my own children, this tradition has continued and has become more than a yearly stop, since our family now lives closer to Nashville. We’ve been fortunate to be able to order specialized gifts for my kiddos and their friends that the staff will hand deliver to our front door, wrapped and discretely hidden so that my children don’t question the arrival. The care and service is incomparable and we would recommend this store to anyone looking for a unique and personal touch.

  This is an amazing store! They seem to have every toy imaginable. But they not only sell toys. Through their various videos they introduce categories of toys and games so as a consumer you can figure out what will work best for your family. On a fairly regular basis they have "game demos" where we can see people setting up and playing different types of games. The two women who run the store offer a wide range of customized services. For holidays, birthdays and such you can give them a person's age and interests with a price range and they will pick items for you. Looking for travel activities for a certain age? They have reccomendations and on it goes. Not only do these women know toys, it is clear they love what they do and make it fun for customers too. For instance as a play on Fat Bear Week the store had a Stuffie tournament. It was silly, funny and kind of sweet. An how many of you even knew there were possum stuffies? I live 2 states away from Nashville IN and only stumbled on to this store while searching for something on line. I've gone from a one time orderer to a regular customer. Why? I do not believe I have EVER patronized a more customer forward store!

  A stop to The Toy Chest is ALWAYS a must when we go to Brown County. They have such a great variety, and its always a hard decision what item my daughter leaves with. The owner is amazing. Several years ago we bought a new toy to the toy chest that we could not get to work. We were camping and my husband threw away the box in the camp dumpster before trying it. Hilary was amazing and not only took the toy back with out packaging, no questions asked, but she opened a bit early for us to return it as we were headed home. This was at their old location If you have not been to the new, you must see it, it is absolutely gorgeous!

  I stumbled across The Toy Chest’s custom package videos about a year ago, and I was amazed! It is rare to find businesses that still put time and energy into building relationships with their customers. Hilary, Emily, and the rest of the team go above and beyond to provide customers with the most magical experience. They truly love toys and the valuable educational experiences they provide for children and adults alike. I have used their expertise for birthday gifts, fun holiday packages, and of course, shopping for my own children. They do not charge extra for the labor and time that goes into curating the custom packages, and they work with any budget. Most of all, they are truly kind people. I cannot say enough good things about this store and the people behind it. Order online, go in person (it’s a small town dream), or just watch their videos. You too will be a customer for life!
