  Total scammer took our money and did not show up. Do not answer our calls. Do not get scammed by him make sure the job is done before giving any sort of money. All the good review if your do your research are friends and family.

  Scammers. This franchise took our deposit and then completely stopped contacting us. We’ve tried involving their corporate ops manager who have been little help so we’re needing to go the route of police and civil. Do not use.

  AVOID!!! In short = unprofessional time-waster/terrible communicator who doesn't do what he says he's going to do. Full story below: In mid Feb. 2025, I reached out to The Tailored Closet to get an estimate for built-in storage and worktop in my small art studio/office in our home and at first things were great. Chris came out to do an estimate the next week, he took all the measurements, was willing to work with me/my ideas, and even let me see his modeling software on the screen so we'd be "on the same page". I wasn't sure how much this project would cost (that's part of the reason why we get estimates!) and I did get a little sticker shock but Chris was patient and offered a couple options to bring the $ down (like having less banks of drawers). While we discussed the job, he even shared some of his own life story and I listened to him and shared that I was going through the same thing as his Dad had. When he left that day I was happy that I had found someone to do the job "tailored" to my vision and for a fair price. He said he'd send me the estimate in a few days. Chris emailed me soon after, explaining that the rough draft/plan would take a little longer because he had to source out some local materials. I was o.k with that and was ready to green-light the project with him/his company once I saw the plan/estimate. The next day, I emailed Chris to ask about adding a small built-in bookcase near the window and he wrote back that that would be "2.5 x as much, maybe more" for one that was finished etc. and so I wrote back that the maple (less fancy/finished bookcase) would be o.k since the other idea would be too pricey acc. to him. A couple weeks later, I emailed him to ask for an update on the suppliers and I even said "If my budget is a concern, we can talk about it." I also tried phoning him just in case he didn't get my email for some reason and....crickets! Jump ahead to May....almost 3 months later...and NOT A WORD from him!!! I tried calling him one final time, wondering if maybe something bad had happened in his life so I said "I haven't heard back from you. I hope everything is okay." I haven't hounded him, I was patient and even compassionate towards him, thinking maybe he was sick or something (especially after we had shared some stuff about our lives!), but he TOTALLY WASTED my time! I guess that's my punishment for being a decent person who has empathy for other people. I get that this isn't the biggest project or the most $ but I believe that ALL customers should be treated equally. If he didn't want to do the job then he should have let me know!!!!
