  The food was ok. Just enough to fill cravings but when you’ve had birria tacos from their other locations, it was extremely underwhelming. The tacos did not feel or taste like authentic birria tacos. The french fries were extremely overcooked. The only upside was that since the soda fountain was down, I was able to get a jamaica without additional charge. But sadly I did have to wait for some time to get that drink vice receiving the drink at the register during purchase. Trying this location again is very low, but maybe after some time, it could get better. For clarification, the last photo is a representation of what I’ve had at other Taco Spot locations. So to have received what I did tonight was extremely disappointing.

  It opened up awhile ago and still seems like they opened yesterday. There’s always something wrong with the fountain drink machine, something on the menu is always out of supply (they should mark on the menu what’s available or not) The service is slow and nobody ever knows what’s going on. The manager never gets there until 4 pm so if you go in before hand, good luck. DO NOT ORDER ON THE APP. It takes your money, when you get a confirmation that the food is ready for pick up, they state they do not have an app. No refund even when shown the confirmation and proof of the app that’s listed on THEIR website. the food is good IF they have it available. This poor gentleman in front of me placed a phone order ahead of time 20 minutes prior and I was able to get my food before him and all he told me he ordered was two tacos. I do not think they have a system down for phone orders. if you are able to, go to the Chandler location. Or the taco stands in the Home Depot parking lot down the street.

  I never write reviews on Google but I feel it is necessary so other people dont experience the same terrible experience. Today was the second visit to The Taco Spot San Tan Valley. The first visit they were actually somewhat busy and it took an hour for a Ramen and burrito. We cut them some slack because they had only been open for about 2 weeks. The second visit was about 4 weeks later which was today. I ordered ONE breakfast burrito. It took almost 35 minutes and I had to ask for my money back to actually get 1 of the 3 cooks in the back to actually start working. They had one poor girl out in the front by herself trying to answer phone call after phone call for door dash and other orders and when she needed any help she had to walk to the back for a manager who took their sweet time and didnt help any customers waiting in the lobby. I will not be coming back to the taco spot in san tan valley ever again.

  I frequent Lindamar next door but still had yet to try the Taco Spot until yesterday for their $1 taco day. Some of my family members have tried it and loved it so we thought we would give it a try. Yes, we waited about 20 minutes to order and an hour for our food (we bought 36 tacos on $1 taco day!) I’m not sure what everyone was expecting on a special occasion like this with a big discount? Obviously it will be busy. Could it have been more streamlined— Absolutely. However to expect fast food wait time service for a new restaurant, on a heavy discount day is crazy. The staff was working as fast as they could, and dealing with unreasonable customers as fast as they could. No one was forcing these people to stay in the line for that long— yet they still had attitudes as if they were stuck there against their will. I wanted to write this review because our food was really good! We tipped on our order. The staff at no point was rude, and was just working with the cards they were dealt from possible mis-judging by the owner/management. Obviously we ordered quite a bit because we were ordering for our large family, but wanted to leave this review because I knew they would’ve gotten a few poor reviews ones from yesterday. Don’t listen to the complainers— the food is great!!

  30 minutos en la linea para ORDENAR. La persona encargada de cobrar también tiene que servir aguas y responder preguntas y también tomar ordenes por teléfono . Pésima logística. Este seguramente es el único establecimiento en la zona donde tienes que esperar 1 hora para que te sirvan la comida DESPUÉS de haber esperado media hora para ordenar. Tienen que mejorar su organización, independientemente del sabor de la comida y la popularidad de la marca, es impensable esperar tanto para el concepto que manejan. Actualización: después de dos horas de espera, decidimos preguntar por un estimado y nos dijeron que ya no habia carne. Si no hubieramos preguntado seguiriamos ahi sentados. Este establecimiento no tiene ningún tipo de manager o manejador, los muchachos no se dan abasto, ah pero para andar promocionando en instagram ahi si bien sonrientes, en lugar de mejorar simplemente ignoraron los comentarios por semanas? Si no es la primera vez que les dejan este tipo de comentarios, porque no hay cambio en la logística? Me dio tristeza ver tanto estres en las chicas de caja, ojalá el negocio se haga responsable pronto!
