I found there were just very lazy employees on a Sunday aftetnoon and the shoe selection severely lacking. Bad customer service overall.
Was trying to order New Balance training shoes; 2E (Wide) or MX608WNR. The Trainyards Shoe Company never has size 12 in.
The tall black sales associate I asked checked other locations and said I could order the shoes from the cashier.
The cashier with long black hair who served me suggested Orleans or Kingston locations, even after I asked for a closer location. She tried to tell me Wide and Extra Wide were the same and to order Extra Wide. I disagreed and did not. When I wrote the shoe details into my phone, she dragged the next customer's purchase to the counter to impatiently rush me along.
Meanwhile, the clerk who originally helped me opened a cash. So...he could have helped me order in the first place! Instead, earlier, he was talking to a girl by the cash instead of hopping on cash to assist me.
Worked in retail for over ten years. This is just lazy service and poor stock. Poor showing in all, Train Yards Shoe Company.

Trainyards sure is a convoluted labyrinth! Nonetheless, I received excellent customer service this week from Lilah. Friendly with great product knowledge. I sold both casual and dress footwear for several years, mostly high-end merchandise in various shops. Best Wishes, Jim

Really nice prices, fair. Shoes in good condition. Picked up a nice pair of Sketchers in a style that I had a hard time finding anywhere else. Staff are friendly.
I would like to share a terrible, stressful experience with The Shoe company. I paid for shoes, they delivered them to a store location that was closed, I emailed & spoke to customer service 8 times to get it resolved, no one would solve it, I just kept being shifted around. I asked for a supervisor to call me for a resolution but no one called. Finally after a month (Aug 20-Sept 17th), they sent me a replacement pair. This could have been solved in one day by shipping them to my house from the beginning.
Too many people involved if only a supervisor had the respect to call me all would have been fine.
Where has great Customer Service gone?
