  Good New York style deli in Sarasota. The pastrami sandwich was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. The potato salad portion was very small and the small pickle slice extremely salty. The decor was interesting and there is a display of Myer Lansky photos and memorabilia. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Prices are relatively high but the sandwiches are large. There is a takeout counter. Street parking and a free lot is nearby.

  Went this evening for a bowl of Matza ball chicken soup. It was great - filling - a meal in itself! Sat outside - great atmosphere - great service.

  Being from New York this was definitely top quality! The reuben sandwich was on point, although not so much sauerkraut, but plenty of meat. I got the kind of classic Jewish kinesh I don't know what they call it here but it's the flat one, delish! The only thing I did not like is if you want to sit there you have to dine with a server. I was just wanting to take some food to go and kind of just sit and eat it but there's no place to do that well there is right in the to go area but they won't let you sit there. I mean in the shopping center like where it's at you should be able to sit and eat without having to have a server especially as a single person. Price point of courses a little high but that's to be expected of this cuisine, definitely not something I would do if I was a local, but visiting it was World worth it

  I am from New York City area and have not been able to find very good delicatessen on the central West Coast to Florida. I live in the Tampa area and went to Sarasota for a wedding. On the way home we bought roast beef and lean corned beef Sandwiches. They were not only very good but they were excellent. We will definitely be back anytime. We are in the Sarasota area. Highly recommend!

  Food good, not as good as a real NY jewish deli, but its about as good as it gets down here. Bit disappointed in the coconut cake..very dry, not a lot of flavor. Just be ready to spend a bit of money.
