Went here on a Sunday afternoon (LSOB). Place wasn't too busy. Parking is on the street, so it may be difficult to find a spot. The inside has a lively vibe. Colorful, full of vintage decorations. I ordered a beignet and a café au lait with a muffaletta to go. The beignet was a little rough on the exterior, but very delicious. The powdered sugar adds a soft bite. The café was good, nothing special. I had the muffaletta later, and that was delicious! Overall, I'd definitely come back to try their other items. We had just ate, so we really didn't get a full dining experience. Their little market felt empty, but they had some good selections of creole and cajun seasonings and pre-made roux. Their bar next door is really cool too. Highly recommend checking this place out.

If you’re craving Cajun food in LA, this spot is a hidden treasure. I had the shrimp po’ boy, and it was packed with flavor and spice, just like the ones I’ve had in New Orleans. The market inside sells Southern groceries you can’t usually find in LA. The staff are laid-back and happy to chat about the menu. It’s authentic and soulful in the best way.
