  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was referred to Carol at The Light for Seniors by Sherri Singleton at Senior Care Connections when I was navigating the overwhelming process of relocating my mom from New Jersey to California. We needed help understanding the Assisted Living Waiver Program (ALWP) and Medi-Cal—and wow, Carol delivered. She was generous with her time during our consult call, giving us clear, practical information that helped us make informed decisions. When we were ready to move forward, she and her team were professional, responsive, and supportive. Yes, they serve a large volume of families, so patience is key—but it’s worth it. At the end of the day, Carol is an absolute advocate. She knows the system inside and out—who to call, what to say, and how to get it done. More importantly, she cares. She’s been a mentor, a guide, and honestly, a guardian angel. Thanks to Carol, and many other angels, my mom is now settled in a beautiful assisted living facility on the ALWP program. “Thank you” is an understatement!
