  We recently had our yard redone by the Lawn Squad. This is not the “franchised” company advertised elsewhere. This Lawn Squad is a family run venture, in business for two decades. Adam and his son Blaze were on site everyday, they and their crew were fabulous. They came out and within two weeks our yard was transformed. The backyard went from an unuseable builder’s grade hill to a beautifully landscaped functional slope. Stone stairs lead down from a tier at the top to a new yard at the bottom. A dry creek bed runs the full length of my lot, eliminating a major drainage and erosion problem. Our driveway was expanded with stones. All existing lawn was replaced with Zoysia Emerald. Remaining bed areas were covered in mulch. The entire project was designed and implemented by Adam. This was not a cookie cutter job. It blended seemlessly into the existing landscape. His artistic eye was the difference. I trust and recommend this company. I received great value. Their professionalism was top shelf. I feel good about the price, in line with the deliverable. The investment was well spent.

  HAPPY WE DID THIS PROJECT I am happy to refer the Lawn Squad to anyone who has a medium to large landscape job. We were planning to update our outside for two main reasons. We wanted better appeal and we had a sinking problem in the backyard due to old trees being buried from contractors many years ago. We also dropped six trees to open up the yard. When I started the search I believed that it would be easy to fine someone to just add soil to fill the area and level the backyard. Maybe eight contractors came and told me stories of four loads of top soil and major walls needed to stop the runoff. Some were uninsured and some were just small two person groups. Some were well known names. Our property was the end unit of the street with trees surrounding us so only one entrance was possible. So to be fair most were guessing what it would take. In the front yard we needed to stop the runoff that was taking soil away and getting worse each year. I am over 70 and I thought to save money I could lay the sod and upgrade the bushes in the front and back. (my wife thought better that I should not). Anyway after a month of looking we noticed that a lot of people were saying that the Lawn Squad had a good reputation. We looked at the projects they did and it looked larger than what we do. But we called Adam and said he would come out on a Sunday. He came and after the first five minutes I made my wife come out to listen. He took us to the back and said it would be at least 9 loads of soil to raise the yard, and 4 loads for the front. He immediately told us 'no walls ' were needed just leveling and refocusing our runoffs. Well he was the first experienced contractor to sound like he really knew what he was talking about. He also said he was extremely busy and if we wanted his services we would need to do it at the last week of September since that was all he had left. He put a bid together that night and my wife looked it over and decided to go with them. Like most people I was completely clueless how much it would be. So yes there was sticker shock. Most homeowners think they can do everything cheap. So yes it was more but not when you getting the amount of work we did. Anyway Adam, and his son Blaze, and three hard workers Fernando, Mario, Jose did an amazing job on totally removing old bushes, bringing in 13 loads of soil, sod. We also had a side to the house where we could not grow anything so Blaze showed us pictures with a new set of stone stairs. Yes it too was expensive ( remember I am the clueless home owner) but we decided we wanted these also. So the team added this to the project. Somehow they were able to get all of this done within the week. And that was because the crew works so well together. So there is a moral to the story. If you want to find a great landscaping crew and company, insured, with their own equipment, and will tell you the FACTS, not the guess work, then talk with these people. Oh yea do not leave out Windy his wife since she was helpful picking the bushes to replace and as my wife said gives us a very nice clean and attractive appeal to our home. I am over joyed that we did the project. SUGGESTION: look at the pictures on their site and you will probably see the same type of problems that you want fixed. Don

  The Lawn Squad is the REAL DEAL! My front yard was a disaster after an unfortunate plumbing situation in 2023 – took me over 2 years to finally pull the trigger on new sod, plus the new walkway and firepit I also desired (not to mention the required excavating, leveling, etc.). After a couple of “lessons learned” over the years, I’m super gun shy with all types of contractors, so I was extremely cautious – wanted to make certain I found a company I felt entirely comfortable with before moving forward. Adam and Windy were FANTASTIC to work with throughout the planning phase, then the real wowza is the my new front yard, thanks to Adam and his crew. I could not be more thrilled with the result and will definitely be hiring The Lawn Squad for future projects. Highly, HIGHLY recommend! They know their stuff!

  If you're looking for landscaping services then you can stop looking because you found the best. Adam and his crew are great! My yard needed to be re-sodded because crabgrass had completely choked out what grass used to be there. He responded to me quickly, came out and talked with me about what I needed, made suggestions and they got me on the schedule. I saw some of the huge projects they've worked on so I was concerned that my little property wouldn't be high on their priority list but they treated me like I was a 5 star client. The results are great and their whole team was great to work with. I'll be calling them again when I'm ready to tackle replacing some of the shrubbery around the house. You can't go wrong with these guys!

  Adam and his son Blaise, as well as the entire crew did a fantastic job. They filled in a large sinking area in the front, regraded the yard to the proper slope, built a berm and graded to properly divert rain water away from the house and did a magnificent job laying the sod. Couldn't imagine the job coming out any better.
