I engaged Beatrice Jacobs as my divorce attorney, and I must express my concerns about her services. The representations made on her website do not reflect the reality of her practice. Her primary focus appeared to be securing the retainer fee. Initially, she was readily accessible, but once payment was received, contacting her became exceedingly challenging. During the divorce mediation, I was allowed by her to sign a vague parenting plan, despite her own admission that it was open to interpretation and susceptible to further motions—indicative of a potential profit motive on her part. Consequently, after spending tens of thousands of dollars with her, I now face nearly $1,000,000 in expenses related to the motions stemming from the ambiguities in the parenting plan she endorsed. It is apparent to me that she lacks genuine concern for her clients.
