I love the grove. Last year I lived in a house on the other side of town and it was awful, the renters company was terribly rude and unhelpful. The Grove has been a completely different story. Getting my lease signed was quick and easy, my apartment is way bigger than I expected, the help portal is pretty good, and maintenance is decently fast. Overall this has been a way better experience and I’ve already renewed for next year!

These apartments have so much space compared to other places in Auburn. Walk in closets and huge bathrooms. If you can get an updated room, the price is very worth it. The front office is also always very helpful.

Lived here for the sole purpose of the the fact that it was the cheapest in town at a walking distance to campus and got treated accordingly. My car was towed from feet away from my doorstep and i was not reimbursed because my parking pass was somewhat covered by another guest parking pass hanging from my rearview mirror. ALSO BE WARNED if you intend to renew they do a tier based system where every 5-10 residents who renew cause an increase in the rent rates. This also occurs two months into the school year giving residents ultimately no time to explore other options while having a reliable rate to renew. Point being that if you don't renew immediately you will end up paying more (I averaged another $100/month per year, so an additional 200/month per year by my third year and I did not renew immediately nor amongst the last residents to renew). Lastly the apartment was disgusting upon move-in with previous residents hair being all over the bathroom and the fridge being filled with mystery substance. Also if you do not get a renovated unit the appliances work with livable things actively wrong with them. In my experience we have a stove that always has the hot light on and a dryer that only works on the basic 60-minute setting while there are about 4 other settings that simply don't start the machine. But obviously if your limited in what you can pay to live within a nice range of campus thus place is in fact possible to live in as I have despite my frustrations through the years. P.S. if any of the front office people read this they are very nice and these issues are not under their control.
