Was excited to go here for the first time but do not go here, they lied about trading games for cash, they are overpriced, don't have gaming laptops, don't accept refunds and they gave me a laptop with a dieing battery.

Goodwill's Trade School offers opportunities for up to 100 peope a year learn basic trade skills, and then wait 4-5 months for additional training to be career-readied. So glad Home Depot is able to help those that Goodwill is unable to assist. Why do you all advertise as a GED and IT technology on community resource sites if y'all don't offer them? I don't need to go to Wilkinson Boulevard to learn to go to CPCC for help. You have a giant building on Wilkerson that is mostly empty. Just admit what services you can provide (some trade school applicants will get accepted, others are offered jobs as clothes sorters at Goodwill). I think a reorganization of senior management is necessary. In a situation where staff, services, and programs are cut, why donate to Goodwill? There are so many other non-profits that actively try to create workforce development programs, why should I donate to the cause of keeping lights on at an organization that does nothing? If IT classes cost $70g each (per Corolla at Gastonia), and you can't place graduates, why run the program for multiple years?

They have a large selection, and it might be a bit pricey but everything is tested! The staff is very nice!

Way overpriced. They charge full retail prices for items that were donated to them. I could sit at home and find better deals online. If it was a family owned business then I would understand, but this is owned and operated by Greedwill. If you need an electronic item or video game and are willing to pay more to avoid waiting on shipping, this is a decent option if you are local.

This Grid location was a great find for me when I moved back into the area. I come here occasionally to see what retro games, and consoles that I can find in addition to other electronics equipment.
