First I'd like to say thank you. Maggie took part in your 4 week course and came back way more confident and way more relaxed during our walks. The community at Dog Knowledge is also great. Your team worked with us one on one to re-enforce some skills that started slip. She a great dog and I'm glad we learned what we needed to show her off.

Our nine month old high energy lab just completed 4 weeks with The Dog Knowledge. We were delighted with his improved self control and obedience. He is a high energy dog with a desire to please but can be very resistant and impulsive. Dennis makes it very clear that dogs do not speak English and live in what can be a confusing world. The trainers, however, clearly speak DOG. We were very impressed with the individual customizing that occurs for different dog personalities. We are grateful for the help Emily has given both our dog and us. We look forward to her home visit as well as following up twice a month on Sunday afternoons for practice and guidance. We appreciate their positive reinforcement approach to training (although leash/collar correction must occur,) and "Yes!" has become our new favorite word!

Read this review before you decide on taking your dogs to this facility. Our family dog Buster was dropped off by my husband to be trained as a service dog on 9/8/2025. When he arrived the young lady at the desk quoted an entirely different price than what he was quote by the owner. He was also informed they did not offer military discounts which also conflicted with what he was told by the owner. These 2 red flags should have made him walk out the door but since she stated she would check with the owner before charging his card; he decided to move forward. He had buster's food prepared and packaged with instructions clearly labeled on the bags for his morning and evening meals. His morning meals were in the brown bags and measured out to a specific portion size and also contained his supplements which were recommended by his Vet to help him get back to a healthy weight. The gray bags did not have any supplements and it was clearly marked for evening meals. After numerous emails back and forth regarding the discrepancy with the quote, it became obvious it was in Buster's best interest to go and pick him up from this facility after getting a text message. You would think as a business owner you would pick up the phone and have a live conversation. When he got home he got extremely angry to discover that Buster was never given any of his morning meals which had the supplements in them! They instead gave him the evening meals which did not have the supplements in them. He also noticed when he picked him up he was not as playful and seem to have no energy. After discovering the facility did not follow his feeding instructions he realized why. When dog owners give feeding instructions you need to follow them! I also discovered some very disturbing findings related to this facility. Before you do business with The Dog Knowledge, perform your due diligence for your own knowledge!

The Dog Knowledge performed a miracle! We sent a wild, untrained, and willfully disobedient Siberian Husky pup (18 months old) to The Dog Knowledge and we received a trained pup back home! We are on our third day back home from training and they have been the most relaxing three days since we rescued Poppy nine months ago. We can finally sit on the couch and lay in bed without getting jumped on and nipped. Poppy sits, downs, places, and heels on command. She now goes in her grate without a fuss. We were hesitant to travel with Poppy prior to training but now have no reservations about planning a cross country road trip in the future. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you to all the staff at The Dog Knowledge for the wonderful work you do!

We are so, so happy we chose The Dog Knowledge for training! Our golden retriever completed the 4 week course at 5 months old and it has made a huge difference. Walks have become enjoyable, not stressful! The work all of the trainers put in is evident and I would highly recommend them to anyone. A special shout out to Becky who helped us understand how to best work with our puppy during the graduation and the in-home follow up. She was patient with all of our questions and we can tell she wants our puppy to be the best boy he can be!
