Ridiculousness! We are local to Fort Worth. We received a Crescent hotel gift card from friends and thought it was a nice gift. We wanted to book a one night stay for our anniversary; and would also have spent quite a bit at their restaurants, spa, etc. However, we were told there is a 2 night minimum! So, here’s some advice for Crescent; don’t bother selling gift cards! We will give this one away. And we will likely never visit. Cheers.

UPDATED The customer service director reached out after seeing the review and shipped me the item. A card with and nice note were sent. ALL SOLVED NOW I booked an event for work for 2 nights here based on reviews and media articles. The location was good and the hotel is beautiful. New and clean. Staff onsite were very polite and professional. Where I am beyond frustrated is their service. I left an electric tooth brush in my room and called a couple days after I checked out. They found it and told me to come by anytime to pick it up. I drove for an hour to get there and when I arrived they asked for time to find it. I went for lunch and came back and they said they house keeping was unavailable to get it. I explained I came all the way here and called to confirm which was frustrating. They offered to ship it to me for the mistake. I left all my info but never got it. Weeks went by and I called back. No one had shipped it and they didn’t have the info they took from me. They sent me a link to pay for the shipping through a lost and found company. Again I didn’t complain and said sure, filled out the forms and then nothing again. I called and explained the situation and again was assured the house keeping director was in the loop. Again weeks and nothing. I called AGAIN and explained all the history and again they confirmed they had it and would work with this director of house keeping who was there but wouldn’t come to the phone. Again nothing…. This went one again for two more calls and each time the polite front desk did say they would help but no manager was available. Ever…. I’ve tried 7 times to get this toothbrush back and got the run around each time. Beautiful hotel but terrible service. Wasted hours of time chasing them. I am giving up and just never going there again.

Expected more for the name. Room did not have a room service menu or snacks that were supposed to be in the drawer. Also, we lifted the items in the refrigerator and snack bin and didn’t realize we would be charged. On check out, I told them that the only item we actually purchased was a beer. They didn’t ask which one so I guess they are all the same price. I requested the invoice to be sent by email at ck out and have yet to receive it one week later. I have emailed but have gotten no response and also called a couple of times but no one has answered the phone. The only good thing I can say is the staff is very polite. We tried it, however, we will go back to the Bowie House for our stays in Ft. Worth.

Stayed here this summer while visiting family for 4 days. The hotel is definitely about aesthetics. Room had a lot of wasted space and the dresser drawers were tiny. This hotel seems more geared towards business people and couples. Not really family friendly, no microwave, no mini fridge, no pool, has mini bar with insanely priced drinks and snacks. A/C and water went out during our stay as well. A lot of construction on the roads directly outside of hotel which made it tricky to come and go. The hotel restaurant was good but no kid friendly options. Overall I would say it’s fine for a few days but not for families.
