Called to ask if they could potentially help with rental assistance in regards to an eviction notice(single mother of 2 children, one of which iw special needs, im just returning to office after a medical leave from being repeatedly sick the past year and recently being diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder). Not looking for a hand out just a hand up to get back on track. The "gentleman" (if you can call him that), was very abrisive and rude, answered and said "we dont do that". He did not offer to point me in the right direction or anything. Just simply "we dont do that" and then went silent. I simply respond "okay, thank you. Have a good day" and hung up. I just find it very sad that their website says they provide help with rent, yet when you call this is what I am told. At the very least, I think the "gentleman" could have atleast been kinder or further educated on what other community resources someone should seek out
