If you wanna stay right in the French quarter, and I certainly don’t recommend this for everybody, this is a sweet oasis. Charming, clean, quiet-ish with earplugs with bourbon street above away and a lively bar downstairs. We love the bar Peychauds downstairs. Serious cocktails and great bartender and ambiance. The courtyard is lovely. We even took advantage of the sister hotel in the garden district, the Chloe, and use their pool one afternoon. I don’t know if I would stay in the French Quarter again, but if I did, I would certainly choose the Celestine.

Absolutely loved our stay at The Celestine! My partner and I brought my parents from FL to New Orleans for my dad’s birthday, and it was the perfect blend of French Quarter energy and peaceful retreat. The staff were all warm and welcoming, and the bartenders fantastic—especially the one working Sunday afternoon, who mixed a delicious happy hour punch and shared both the hotel’s history and great recommendations for our last day. Her love for her hometown was contagious, and it’s those types of genuine interactions that made the trip unforgettable for my dad. The rooms were gorgeous, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was pure bliss. I especially loved starting each morning with a latte from the on-site coffee bar and the sound of jazz drifting in from the courtyard. I was looking for a place that went beyond a standard hotel and felt truly unique to the city's character, and Celestine is it. We couldn’t have asked for a better home base for such a special celebration.

I’m sorry to say that this was an incredibly disappointing experience first of all days no service there is nobody to carry a luggage so you have to carry your luggage yourself upstairs. The rooms are very dingy. The windows are not insulated. The air goes through it and they’re very noisy, which is probably why the hotel gives you earplugs in order to allow you to sleep. The bathroom is very strange. There is a toilet with the shower and then there’s a little side in the room Which is very unpleasant. There is no closet to decor of the room is bad. The bed isn’t very comfortable and the air conditioning isn’t working properly on the hall. We stayed in room number 10 and it was not like the pictures. Inter Look like they were secluded on pictures, but everything was open next to each other in front of each other with all the other furniture, including the bed in the bathtub I would not recommend this hotel under any circumstances we were supposed to say three days and we stayed one and a half hours and we come quickly and move to another hotel. Thank you.
