I have had my dogs treated at The Animal Care Center of Ooltewah since 2028. I could not be happier with the help and care we have received from Dr. Mullins, Dr. Johnson and Dr. Robertson. We are very picky over who treats our service dogs. We have too much money invested in them to allow just anyone to care for them. We drive almost an hour to come to an appointment. They are worth the two hours round trip.

Don't like doing this negative review, yet feel it to be super important. So, I do appreciate the help a Chattanooga rescue provided me with to get vet work done here for an urgent rescue I took on -Princess the Great Pyrenees. We received help w the basic vet care and gratefully receive a negative heartworm result w her vaccines, then we went to Chattanuetter for her to be spayed and she gets a positive heartworm result (low antigen). I called and let Courtnee know to which she replied okay I will pull my tests. Fast forward to current mos later I ask if Courtnee can honor a retest as Princess has been on 3 mos of preventative now and this can eradicate low antigen some do say. Well she replies I would work with you but you're just going to get the same result from our test as before. I reply Oh so you're just settling for the innacuarate tests? She said I am trying to help you but I won't if you have an attitude. Ok this is a serious matter so you didn't pull those tests she can't retest because you have kept the same ones on the shelf basically is what you're saying and you're just ok with a false negative ! Also bc there were 2 tests with different results shouldn't a re-test have been offered by the one that said negative in the first place but using different tests of course. I feel like it is their duty to do the re-test and the tests should be changed ! Heartworm is a life, death leading fatality. Not ok.

The Animal Care Center of Ooltewah is wonderful. We started taking our dog there when we moved to Tennessee. The staff there are wonderful and caring. When we had to put down our beloved dog, the staff cried with me. Then I took my mothers dog when she passed away and they took wonderful care of him too, til we had to let him go. Highly recommend The Animal Care Center of Ooltewah.

This veterinary hospital has the sweetest kindest most loving and amazing staff on the face of the planet. Kovu passed away today And we retreated with the most love and respect that I have ever been treated in a veterinary hospital in my entire life. They mourned with me I'll never go anywhere else

We were taking care of our daughter-in-law's beloved dog when he fell down our steps. He was limping and not putting any weight on his leg, so we rushed him to your office. Although it was only a few minutes until closing, your staff x-rayed him and determined it was a bad bruise. Thank you!.
