This is the best Thai food in Charleston. We had the whole fish red snapper with Ginger sauce is the top notch. The restaurant is peaceful which we like our quite dinner. Friendly service and attentive.

Visiting from NJ! We have only had good Thai food with true Thai flavor in Vegas and in PA. We now can add Charleston to the list! One of the best tom yom soups/beef salad I’ve ever had. So flavorful. I will get one more on my way out of town because I can’t stop thinking about it

Establishment does not take accountability, as customer satisfaction is not a top priority. Instead, they choose to bash the customer to ensure they receive business when they are at fault. Don’t believe me? Look at the recent reviews

My review above had no comment until the owner or manager responded below, to which I cannot submit a response to. Here is my reply:
I'm disappointed, but not surprised, by your unprofessional and defensive response.
I stand by my review. The cockroach was clearly inside the food before I opened the container. The photo I posted speaks for itself—there is no logical reason I would fabricate something so serious, especially when it directly affected my health and trust as a customer.
Rather than taking responsibility and addressing a potential health hazard, you're trying to discredit me and imply I staged this. That’s not only insulting, it's irresponsible—especially for a business that serves food to the public.
Also, your threat to post my name online is completely inappropriate and unethical. I submitted a factual review about my experience, which I am legally entitled to do. Attempting to intimidate or shame a customer for leaving honest feedback says far more about your business practices than my review ever could.
I hope you take future complaints more seriously and focus on resolving them professionally.

I wasn’t planning to leave a review, but the service was so lackluster I felt compelled to share. I understand and respect the straightforward nature of European service—no need for over-the-top pleasantries. But what I experienced here went beyond that.
From the moment I walked in, the staff member (an Asian woman) looked visibly annoyed by my presence. I was told to “take a seat anywhere,” so I chose the nearest table—a table for four, even though I was dining alone. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only two other tables occupied in a large space. Still, she rolled her eyes at my choice. If seating preferences matter, don’t offer open seating.
Throughout the meal, there wasn’t a single smile or moment of warmth. I’m not expecting a parade, but basic courtesy goes a long way in hospitality. The food was average and I won’t have cared, but the service left a sour taste and takes one star away from the meal itself.
A group of 4 walked in as I was finishing my meal and she audibly grunted to the point one of them in the group heard it and went “someone’s not happy. I don’t get it, it’s empty”.
Anyhoo! Won’t do this again.
