About

Veterinarian
The Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) saves animal lives! TCAP has been a leader in animal welfare since its formation in 2002. TCAP provides compassionate solutions to pet overpopulation and euthanasia. As a non-profit, TCAP provides the lowest prices for preventative animal care throughout North Texas. In 2007, the Humane Society of the United States named TCAP as the "most innovative approach to animal welfare in the nation." TCAP's skilled and caring veterinary team has spayed/neutered more than 540,000 animals and has vaccinated more than 1 million animals against the deadly rabies virus. TCAP's ultimate goal is to substantially reduce animal overpopulation and euthanasia throughout North Texas, while we promote animal welfare.

Great place to get your vaccines taken care of for a great price! I also had a dog spayed here and a dog neutered here. Makes these services affordable for most people!

Service is great but the new location in Joshua is just to far out. When you are working on feral fixing, it becomes too time consuming. Once a year for annual per shots is one thing but for constant trapping and fixing its not. I'd rather they move back to burleson or closer to down town ft worth. The ft worth location is just as far as the Joshua location from down town. Burleson was alot closer.

El viernes llevaré mi perrito a esterelizar y me gustaría saber si en esta localidad pueden prestarme una jaula? El año pasado esterelize mi otra mascota en otra localidad y si me prestaron

We highly recommend TCAP to anyone with cats and dogs. Their vets and vet tech are professional and friendly. It's very obvious that they are dedicated to giving the best care to the animals. We will definitely be bringing our cats there again.

BEWARE: while TCAP provides a valuable service to the community with the feral population, I trusted them with my indoor cat to be spayed and she now has Ovarian Remnant Syndrome. THIS MEANS HER SURGERY WAS BOTCHED BY TCAP! I’ve spent almost $1200 trying to figure that out and there’s nothing I can do to correct it outside of a dangerous surgery she has a high likelihood of not surviving. Now I have to live with a cat that is going in and out of a false heat (indoor cats go through it any time and more frequently) and it’s destroying my sanity. She’s up all night howling and pacing and throwing herself on the floor. It’s maddening! All because I needed to save money on her spay and chose TCAP instead of the more costly regular veterinarian. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND TAKE YOUR PETS ELSEWHERE!
