  I gave them 2 stars primarily for dishonesty. I want to let everyone know that the "Free Estimate" they have on the website is a LIE. When I called, I was explicitly told there was no hourly rate; the technician would simply assess the problem on-site, provide a quote, and then we could decide whether to proceed with the repair. What actually happened is that the technician showed up and immediately asked for a $187.95 fee just to start the inspection. Without that upfront payment, they won't look at the issue. I wouldn't be so upset if this service charge had been mentioned when I booked the appointment. I understand initial service fees exist, but hiding a nearly $188 charge—especially when I specifically asked about repair costs—is unacceptable. Their website and the info I was given over the phone is completely misleading.

  Tedford doors came on Saturday and fixed my garage door and programmed all remotes and key pad !! Service was amazing !! The technician “Jason “ really knew his stuff and was very professional!! Much appreciated!! Highly recommend this company !!! Thanks for great service !! Cheers !!

  The Tedford team (Ali A., Chad P., and Nigel S.) was very professional and attentive, always available whenever needed. After installing the new panel, Ali and Chad carefully checked the garage door’s operation multiple times, repairing each issue thoroughly before feeling comfortable with the work. Additionally, Ali shared his experience with me and taught me how to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future.

  Tedford Doors came out and serviced my 20 year old garage door today. The service tech, Avery was excellent and provided valuable info on the status of my garage door. After consulting, Avery recommended some options and we decided on three. Plus a couple of new remotes. He was quick, thorough and super nice. Highly recommend Tedford Doors for fast, knowledgeable and quality service.

  After 24 years since my dad got someone to installed a new garage door and a door opener, the spring finally snapped. It was my first time needing to deal with it but happy to see a sticker on the door for emergency needs. It happened on Saturday and when I called the number was happy to hear someone answered and that Tedford Doors was still in business. They couldn’t find the original receipt as it was done over 20 years ago but they were able to help me. They even recommend if it was not a priority to call back during weekdays and book a weekday appointment then I would not have to pay for the emergency weekend surcharge. Wednesday came and the technician was Brian. He was knowledgeable and explain things clearly. He had 3 models for the springs and educated me on the cycle count so I went with the middle of the road option. Included an inspection of the door equipment as I can’t remember when the last time my dad maintained it. They even had new openers in their van for if I wanted to update a 24 year old model with a more modern version with more tech but did not pressure me into getting one. Just gave me the pricing options so I know for future. It was a great experience dealing with Tedford Doors and Brian. Thank you for getting it back to working and the wait was not too long. I recommend TD to anyone seeing this review.
