Chef if very personable walking around, talking to people, asking how the food is. Everything is made in house and fresh! Portions are large, well worth the price. Highly recommend :)

We were in town for a concert and saw this little gem was on the same block so we had to make a stop here. The space and decor is homey and definitely a labor of love! The food was amazing! The rice and peas were so good i could have just a bowl of it and be satisfied. The jerk chicken and salmon were cooked beautifully and the beef patties and festival were oven fresh and had the perfect texture! I’m kinda devastated that I’m not local because I’d definitely be a regular lol

The oxtail was amazing — tender, flavorful, and not overly salty. The rasta pasta was just as good, super creamy and perfectly seasoned. The playlist was such a vibe and really set the mood — we genuinely enjoyed our lunch here! Definitely coming back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Delicious! A Taste of the Caribbean in LA! I stopped by this Caribbean spot and was blown away! Every bite was packed with flavor , you can really taste the love and authenticity in the cooking. The plantains were perfectly cooked and crunchy on the outside and soft sweetness inside, easily some of the best I’ve ever had. And the Jamaican patty? Incredible. The crust was soft and buttery, and the filling was bursting with rich, savory spice that instantly took me back to the islands. If you’re looking for REAL Caribbean food come to Taste Of The Caribbean LA

I’m embarrassed because I heard so many good things about it and when I came up here To check it out it wasn’t a good experience. I understand that jerk cauliflower isn’t a traditional Jamaican dish, but at least marinate the cauliflower in the jerk seasoning the night before. I was served half-cooked, hard cauliflower with jerk sauce just drizzled on top. The chef was nice, but he came outside mumbling, “You don’t like my food?” I never said a word or complained, so he must’ve known it wasn’t right. I even had to ask for the cabbage that was supposed to come with my dish he completely forgot it, and by that time he was already outside eating his own plate after my food took forever to come out. They were out of rum cake, but the bathrooms were really clean and the ambiance was nice. No one else was there when I went. If you plan to eat here, I suggest sticking to traditional dishes. Don’t come here for the vegan options unless you ask them to fully cook the cauliflower I didn’t know I had to ask for that.
