  This by far is the worse plate of enchiladas I’ve ever had. They were dry, no enchilada sauce and nothing but shredded white cheeses in top. This cannot be what the sell in their restaurant…unbelievable.i was to have a side salad to my enchilada plate and all I received was shredded lettuce, no other veggies with a white dressing on top. We also ordered beef nachos and the meat was very hard to chew and looked like a pilled mess. My advice…DO BETTER!!

  I can’t brag about TOM more. Everything is delicious and fresh. From tacos, tortas, salsa and aguas frescas, it’s all flavorful. We live closer to Galveston but we’ll always be customers!

  They catered our wedding. The food was absolutely amazing — 10/10! Everything we tried at the tasting was delicious, and our guests loved the food at the wedding. We had the taco experience for 100 guests with three meats, drinks, fruit, elote, a nacho fountain, and a coffe. Our tasting experience with Taste of Mexico went wonderfully — the food was absolutely delicious! We chose the taco experience for 100 guests with three different meats, two drinks, fruit, and elote. They also included a nacho fountain and coffee bar, which we were so excited about. The food itself was definitely a 10/10. Unfortunately, the communication and service side of things were disappointing. During the planning process, it was hard to get in touch with them, and after sending payments via Zelle, I had to follow up several times through email just to receive confirmation and receipts. On the wedding day, the service was not what we expected. The team only came by once to bus tables, even though that was a paid service meant to continue throughout dinner. It was upsetting to see my family get up to clean when that should have been handled by staff. The coffee station wasn’t set up as promised, and the cake cutting was messy and poorly done — the cake was simply thrown onto plates. Overall, the food was amazing and our guests loved it, but the lack of communication and poor service really took away from the overall experience Overall, the food was phenomenal, but the service and communication really took away from the experience.

  I can’t believe I’ve never tried this spot before! I recommend giving it a try! The variety of food is impeccable, the service is elite & the vibe is lovely! Definitely my family & I’s new spot! Love this authentic Mexican spot!

  Tried Taste of Mexico for the first time on Taco Tuesday and I was blown away. I consider myself a taco trash panda and let me tell you these tacos were in a league of their own. First off, there are approximately 10 different proteins to choose from ( not including soy/tofu) and the super nice lady at the register didn't care how much variety we wanted on our 5 taco plate. We got Al Pastor (amazing) 😍 Carne Guisada, Bistek Con Chile, Puerco En Salsa Verde and Beef Steak and they were all delicious. They pack the meat into those delectable corn tortillas! They were so good that we had to get 5 more to share even though we were getting full. The sauces, mild medium and hot (green salsa) all had great flavors as well. The only disappointment was the fact that I live 45 minutes away from this place. I'll definitely make the trek to get my fix. Taste of Mexico has ruined street tacos (from anywhere else) for me forever. 🤣. Can't wait to go back!
