  Had a terrible craving for tacos at 1 a.m. and was excited to see that Taqueria Taxco is open 24 hours. My friend and I decided to go through the drive thru since the parking lot was packed. I was super excited, thinking these tacos were going to hit the spot. I ordered the taco plate, which comes with three tacos (your choice of protein), rice, and beans. The wait wasn’t too bad. What was disappointing was the fact that they only give you one salsa per order, anything extra costs more. One salsa for three tacos? WHAT?! Anyway, whatever! I ordered one trompo and two beef fajita tacos. The beef fajita was decent, but the trompo had a weird scent and taste to it. I ended up throwing it away. What a disappointment!!! Never again!

  Great place to try out. A variety of meats are available. (Surprisingly, no gound beef taco meat! I'm thinking that ground beef is not as authentic as the other choices?) I had the Nacho plate with barbacoa. It was pretty tasty. Hubs had the Quesabirria plate. It was interesting, but not as tasty as expected. There are a number of items on the extensive menu that we want to come back and try. They have some alcoholic drinks ready to serve, as well as a variety of Mexican bottled soft drinks. The atmosphere comes across as authentic, cozy and welcoming. We will be back!

  Rude service from the cashier, and it’s not the first time with this specific cashier. We asked questions about the menu, and we were met with annoyance from her end. I also communicated that when we order a big portion of tacos, we never receive the right portion of condiments. If they could please make sure to add enough, her reply was “we always put enough.” If this was the case, I wouldn’t be asking.

  The service was honestly rude and slow, came during a slow time and used the drive through and the food still took a while to come out. Tacos are fair in price and have good flavor.

  I’m really disappointed, I come to this restaurant all the time and bring my friends and family with me. I recently came in with my friends by the drive thru and waited about 10 minutes at the screen menu, nobody answered me when I kept saying hello I finally pulled in by the window and saw that everyone was at the counter, some of them doing nothing and the lady with the headset talking to another lady working there. I tried to get their attention and they only looked at me and ignored me i waited there for about 15 more minutes getting ignored. I’ve never been so disappointed considering this was one of my favorite places to go too
