The menu covers everything from fresh, artfully presented sushi to perfectly crisp crab rangoon, fluffy pork bao buns, and rich, flavorful ramen. Every dish tastes as good as it looks. The atmosphere adds to the experience: a warm, tropical Asian vibe with a beautiful river view that makes the whole meal feel like a getaway. had such a wonderful experience at Tanuki Miami, thanks in large part to our server, Benjamin. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel so welcome and taken care of. He was attentive without ever being intrusive, always checking in at just the right moments. Benjamin knew the menu inside and out and gave excellent recommendations that made our meal even more enjoyable. His timing was perfect, and everything from drinks to dessert flowed seamlessly. Beyond his professionalism, he brought such a warm and genuine energy to the table—it felt like he really cared about making sure we had a great time.

Maria is truly heaven-sent! From the moment she greeted us, she made us feel completely cared for. My husband and I are both pretty picky when it comes to food, but every single recommendation Maria gave was spot on — she knew exactly what to suggest, and everything was absolutely delicious. She was attentive without ever being overbearing, so warm, and so on point with every detail. Honestly, this was the best service we have ever received anywhere. Maria turned our night into such a wonderful experience, and we can’t wait to come back and request her again!

This was the first time my family and I dined here at Tanuki Riverlanding. The experience was far exceeded our expectations. The food was excellent in terms of presentation , exquisite flavors and timeliness in coming to the table. Our server Isa was very helpful in explaining the various options on the menu and gave just the correct amount of attention. I ordered the Branzino and it was cooked perfectly. Mauricio, the head chef, brought out our appetizers and informed us of our entrees were on the way. My family felt a warm personal touch to have him come to our table. We definitely would make the drive down again from Hollywood to come experience dining at Tanuki again.

Tanuki really is something special, so close to perfect you can almost taste it. We arrived closer to 10PM and our server, Isa, was incredibly attentive and understanding. Having a server who is honest, present and kind goes a long way. The bartender, Garrick, was incredibly accommodating when it came to making a non-alcoholic drink into a cocktail - IT SLAPPED. Jimmy was also making sure we had everything we needed despite us not being in his section. Essentially, you cannot go wrong with the service at Tanuki - just avoid the ramen until they figure it out. An entirely new recipe is needed to compare to even a chain restaurant like Jinya. The mushrooms were wrong (no enoki), the greenery is wrong (bok choy instead of spinach, miniature corn on the cob), and it really didn’t taste likes your average ramen at all. The lack of depth, flavor and umami kills this ramen. It really tasted soulless, more like a miso soup, and it was disappointing. I ended up ordering Wagyu Nigiri instead and that was delicious. Tanuki is very much worth your money and time - just avoid the ramen until the recipe changes.
