  I went for Happy Hour with my dog and boy was it a happy hour for sure. I appreciated the amazing service provided by Isaac, he kept my margaritas full and my stomach very happy. I was visiting this area for two weeks and I wish I had come sooner. Will recommend 100%

  The restaurant is elegant and nice decor. Service was ok. Food not good. We got some chips and salsas on the house Honestly, chips were really hard and the 2 salsas, one was really hot. Tacos al Pastor not so good. Quesadillas were great.

  Exceptional service by Mariana! We were looking for a great Mexican restaurant for our Sunday brunch routine, and we truly chose the best — we got it right! Talavera exceeded our expectations. The food was absolutely exquisite! I had the enchiladas with Swiss cheese paired with a delicious tamarindo margarita, while my husband enjoyed the flautas and a fresh, perfectly balanced lemonade. We were so impressed with both the food and the service that we even called the manager to share our appreciation. Throughout our visit, every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. Mariana, Ali, and Andy — thank you for making our experience an unforgettable one. We’ll definitely be back very soon!

  I have eaten all over the Miracle Mile which is stuffed with restaurants, many of which seem to be Italian so I was very excited to mix it up and try some Mexican food. First let me say that the restaurant is beautiful, very modern with low lights and very expensive looking. We were greeted by very friendly staff and sat immediately at the time of our reservation. We were greeted by a wonderful server who took our drink orders immediately which I appreciate. We ordered the queso and the flautas ( as apps) the queso was ok, and the flautas come one per order, so it was hard to share as an app. They flauta was ok, more about the presentation then the flavor, as it was served in a martini glass. We ordered an order of tacos and an enchilada. Both were fine, nothing to write home for at that price point. The restaurant seemed much more concerned with the vibe than outstanding food. I could have had the same meal at my neighborhood Mexican restaurant. The vibe in the restaurant was great and again the staff was lovely, but I think there are better Mexican restaurants with a very different price point. I will try it again, because maybe I ordered wrong, but not rushing out the door to eat there again.

  Quería reportar que el mesero al traernos la cuenta había un service charge y mi esposo le preguntó que era ese cargo y nos dijo es algo que el restaurante cobra como servicio de mesa. La razón de la pregunta fue para saber si el service charge del 17% era el tip o para no volver a dejar, ya que decía service charge y abajo decía tip. El mesero nos mintió en la cara y le dejamos el doble de tip. Ese service charge es el tip no es ningún cargo del restaurante. MESERO MENTIROSO José M V. Somos de Florida y no somos turistas, no vayan allí porque les mienten!!! Nos enteramos porque la señora de la mesa de al lado nos escuchó y nos dijo la verdad. En Miami aparentemente ponen service charge para confundir al cliente, la señora es de Miami y sabía eso. El mesero cuando la señora le preguntó lo mismo se puso de espaldas nuestro para que no escuchemos. Falta de respeto! No recomiendo ir allí.
