A delicious blend of old and new world Mexico, Talavera features a variety of popular Mexican dishes varying from recipes that originated in traditional street markets to others that have been refined in the classic restaurants of Mexico City.
A large selection of Tequilas and Mezcales (more than 300) along with amazing mixology that includes all the classics.
A selection of dishes that have been around in the Mexican culture for generations, following the classic recipes prepared with top-quality ingredients and freshness.
A cherry wood grill that adds flavor to all our prime quality meats, fish, and seafood.
All these come together in a modern, warm, clean, sophisticated environment that houses old-world Mexican comfort food, creating a contrast that makes TALAVERA a unique- hard to match experience today and tomorrow.
Although the latest remodeling "de-Mexicanized" the restaurant and reduced the size of the menu, the remaining Mexican dishes are still excellent.
The addition of insect offerings for the more adventurous (and wealthy) might be too gimmicky.

Had taco and enchilada entrees, well seasoned and lunch portions. Guac appetizer needed some flavor but the chicharron dippers rocked. Nice tamarindo margaritas.

Had a great experience at Talavera with the service, atmosphere and most importantly the food! I was impressed and happy to see that they had added a whole vegetarian section to their menu that not only looked good but were delicious plus they were very accommodating in changing out one of the meals with the vegetarian beans for me. Prices were decent and loved the taco chips and dips we were offered upon being seated. Will definitely be back!

Cozy Mexican restaurant, with homemade tortilla chips. There beans and rice had a delicious flavor, with a hint of corn. We all had tacos, the kids loved them, and we did to. I just wish the lighti g was a little better. It was kind of hard for me to read the menu, as I'm an older person. But overall, it was a great experience. Highly recommend.

I went to this restaurant once two years ago and never stopped thinking about it. I finally got around to visiting again today 9/29 and I’m sorry that I did. The server Ernesto came over and we ordered Horchata. It was ok but definitely not sweet or cold enough. Next we order the chicharron guacamole. It comes out with pieces of rubber that were curled up on the edges and ice cold. These were supposed to be tortillas. I told the waiter and he brought them back after being re-heated. At this point I’m still optimistic so I order the carne asada. It was decent but none of it was fresh. Probably whatever was left over from this past weekend. Extremely disappointed considering it used to be divine. Ernesto was probably the worst server I’ve ever had and we waited an additional 30 min for the Check while he was goofing around with another staff member at the bar. To top things off 18% is now included in the bill and as we all know, once they include auto-gratuity the quality of service vanishes. So sad. Will not be returning.
