We are extremely picky and protective about where we board our dogs. Tailwaggers exceeds our standards for our dogs care while out of town. I never worry about them because I know they are getting a vacation too. Every time we pick them up, they are happy and relaxed. If you’re a dog owner you understand when a dog is stressed from being boarded, but you’ll NEVER experience this at Tailwaggers. Our dogs are always excited to go and as a “helicopter” mom the staff always puts me at ease with their knowledge and confidence with the dogs. Now we just drop them off without a care in the world knowing they are well attended and cared for. The staff truly loves dogs. They also board cats. I’m not a cat owner, but the cat facility is very tastefully done. If you pouring over reviews looking for that special place for your pet, I promise you, this is the place. You’re welcome!

Tex has been to Tailwagger's numerous times. I don't know what they do to make it so fun, but he boards the van wagging his tail and comes home wagging his tail. It's like he's going on a vacation instead of me!! Actually, I do know what they do - they give great care to all the dogs there and they give them a lot of play time in the play yard, which Tex just can't get enough of. I'm always assured when I'm out of town that my dog is getting the best care he possibly can and having a blast to boot!!
I would recommend this place. I had to quickly find boarding due to emergency. Luckily, a family friend recommended me this place. My dog has never been boarded and I was pretty worried and unsure of how my dog would do. Thankfully, they were very nice and accommodating for my dog. I was able to text them and asked about updates and she seemed very happy and healthy when we got back. Also, used them for grooming today and I’m very happy on how it turned out! Definitely coming back again!

We could not be more impressed with Tailwaggers facility and staff! We were greeted with warm smiles and lots of love and attention for our Cane Corso. We also very much appreciated being able to communicate via text during our pets, stay for questions and updates. The grounds and accommodations are beautiful and more than met our expectations. Grooming services were above par as well! Five stars for Tailwaggers!!

I wanted to love this place so much. I had been looking into it for years but always ended up keeping my dogs with somebody at home. I have a new dog and she has a lot of energy, so I figured this could be a good option for her and my other little dog.
I took them for a daycare session to see how they did. They did not interact with other dogs at all, I understand it is a process but they did not even seem tired when I picked them up, just stressed, which I understand it might be the new environment. Whether they had playtime or not remains a mystery.
I then boarded them for 2 nights to see how they would do, anticipating other longer trips in the future as I travel all the time. I booked the veranda suite but honestly have no way of knowing where they stayed. I have to say they were accommodating and let me drop off earlier on Sunday (10am vs. noon), which made my trip easier as I had to catch a flight. I thought that was nice.
However, I did not get any report on the 3 days they were there. I was supposed to pick them up at 5:30pm, and I was on my way earlier but still got a text to confirm I was in fact picking them up. I thought that if they have the time to send this text, they could send some sort of report for the stay, especially being their first time there. I got this feeling that they just wanted the dogs to leave.
I mentioned this to the from desk guy and he did not have an answer, other than pointing at a bag with a written report. 1 for both dogs, which I thought was weird as they are totally different dogs, one is 9 and 14lbs (Yorkie mix), and the other one is 2, and 60lbs (Carolina dog).
There were quick to check me out, but when I asked again about how they did, this other woman said they did not have time to do individual reports for every.single.dog. I thought that was a bit off, I did not like her tone and she looked at me like I was crazy to ask. Every boarding place has daily reports.
The report I got on the bag for both dogs was empty, just crosses. I am attaching a pic. I guess they ran out of ink? But nobody took the time to check this?
I feel like dogs don't get enough time outside, that's why there were not photos or notes, and that the service is not very personal, just transactional (quantity vs. quality). Too pricy to have them locked for 3 days.
