The words are taken out of me… the experience I had on my Saturday night was LOVELY!!!! Let’s start at the way that this place looks, it’s a chef’s kiss! As someone in real estate, I can appreciate good service and a welcoming atmosphere; it was just HEAVENLY!! I felt so comfortable sitting at the bar.. by myself and ate while having the best experience and friendly attitude of RAMSEY!!!!!! I can’t wait to bring my family back here really soon😮‍💨👌🏾

Slow kitchen, awful service, bland food, but high-tier aesthetics and PLENTY of parking space. Crispy Fish and Al Pastor tacos were bland and soggy, Chicken Quesadilla had a nice texture but was unfortunately also bland. The only parts of my order that had any redeeming quality were the Corn Esquite and the Piña Agua Fresca, and even the corn tasted like it had been sitting around for a while. And speaking of sitting around for a while, I was sat at a table and PROMPTLY FORGOTTEN FOR HALF AN HOUR I had to order through Uber Eats while I was sitting in the restaurant while the waitstaff were seemingly ignoring me. One star added because the food and the decor look fantastic, but looks aren't everything I guess.

This is my literal first time writing a food review ever but I truly felt I had to warn people about this place. This place is horrible. It is not an authentic Mexican restaurant. I had eaten at this place once before over a year ago and I liked it. I came back because I was in the area and it was absolutely disgusting. All of the food had no flavor and was so greasy. My boyfriend and I ordered rice and beans and corn in the cup to start. Not quite sure how you can mess up rice and beans, it was so plain and had a very weird taste like old rice. The corn in the cup was ok in the beginning but as you kept eating it was so watered down and felt like it was microwaved. My boyfriend got 2 tacos. The chicken tanga and the birria taco. The chicken was dry and both tacos were oily. I got the carne asada quesadilla. Which basically was an opened taco, and also was so oily I couldn’t even finish. DO NOT GO HERE. I don’t know if they got new management or cooks or what, but it is horrible. Do not give them business.

I would not eat here again. It is extremely pricey for tacos that are just meat and oily tortilla. Paid 80$ for 6 tacos. The service is good but uncomfortable since there are no clients and too many waiters on top of you. The place is horrible and shady, it is like eating in the street and not in a restaurant. The tables and chairs are old and the plates and cups seem dirty. No organization so not even the restaurant ambience is fine, event worst the food.

I was really excited to try Tacombi in Westbury because the pictures online looked amazing — but honestly, the food did not live up to the hype. I tried the Sinaloa Shrimp Taco (1/10), Black Bean & Sweet Potato Taco (1/10), and the Beef Ribeye Taco (3/10). The presentation looked great, but everything seriously lacked flavor besides the ribeye taco, which was just okay. At around $8 per taco, I expected much better quality and larger portions. The food was bland, not satisfying, and definitely not worth the price. For the same cost, Tocola Cantina down the block is way better in both taste and value. The only positives were that the place looks nice and the staff was friendly, but good vibes and décor can’t make up for disappointing food.
